Game works out of the box. No tinkering needed.

10W TDP limit, 45FPS limit
Text boxes might not fit the screen

I've been playing online co-op with a friend for the entirety of my playtime. No issues whatsoever.
Currently on the third chapter with no issues encountered at all.

45fps lock

The default settings are fine if you also limit the deck's refresh rate to 40Hz (and maybe even the TDP for a better battery performance). For me, this felt a little sad and I played around with the graphics settings in order to obtain a steady 60fps in almost all scenarios*. Here are the settings that I used:
- Resolution: 1280x800
- V-Sync: On
- Motion Blur: On
- Anti-Aliasing: Mid
- Texture Quality: Ultra
- Post Prcessing: Mid
- Shadow Quality: Mid
- FX Quality: Low
For me personally, these settings allowed me to enjoy the scenery while having a smooth playthrough.
* - I said almost because there was a boss fight in the end game where I had 40-50fps. There were also a few scattered small places where the fps dropped to lower 50s, but moving the character a few steps in any direction, updated the framerate back to normal.
So.. it depends on your preference: if you want better battery life, then limiting the refresh rate to 40Hz, limiting the TDP to a smaller value and even updating the settings will get you probably 3-4h minimum. If you want better performance, you could try the settings above :).

Runs out of the box
I played through the game (singleplayer), no issues occurd.
mangohud %command%

gamemoderun %command%
Game starts to freeze when you first load up the location
Finished game without issues
Works Perfectly Out of the Box
Se repite el video inicial de juego y no se puede quitar
Instalar y jugar.
Game itself ran flawlessly after switching to an older proton version. The only issue were noticeable slowdowns when trying to switch windows or open steam overlay.
Works absolutely flawless out of the box.
40hz refresh rate
Worked well out of the box.

Text in subtitles and in some places can be enlarged, but the main character is quite small. Anyway it is quite playable.
Can be adjusted in game options, but not in all places
gamemoderun mangohud WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR_MODE=ultra ENABLE_VKBASALT=1 %command%
Black screen on launch. Unplayable and unusable. Need to stop the game from Steam.
Does NOT work on Manjaro in Septenber 2022
40FPS/40HZ cap
Controls work well on the Steam Deck, the only issue I had was it was difficult to summon and dismiss mounts. Singleplayer works really well, I didnt try local or online multiplayer.

Runs semi-flawlessly. If you have a modern PC you have to restrict cores for the game to play.
taskset -c 0-5 %command%
There was some weird shrinking of the screen the first time I ran the game when it was in fullscreen, but changing to windowed fullscreen solved the issue.
The game won't run on a PC with too many cores. I have an AMD 5900X with 12 x2 (SMT) cores and a 5800H with 8 x2 (SMT) cores. If I tried to run the game with all cores on, it would only run with textures set to low. Restricting to the first 6 (0 to 5) virtual cores solved the issue (see launch options).
It works on PC with many cores provided you use the aforementioned launch parameters: taskset -c 0-5 %command%
I tried to run this game with 3 or 4 Proton GEs and official protons going backwards to proton 4.11. Proton 4.11 runs the game for me.
Unfortunately audio problems really degrade the experience.
The audio crackling and degradation really is terrible. I've tried Proton 6.3, Experimental and Proton-GE but experienced this problem with all of them
I mean, i played for almost an hour then crashed, i rebooted my machine and sudenly i cannot login beacuse my video drivers are corrupted
It crashed and corrupted my amd gpu driver and some mesa libs
Works great out of the gate with Proton Experimental Nov-2021
Stuttering on random animations
Game works perfectly
I've completed the game on xbox one controller. No issues.

Works out of the box. No issues.
Use PROTON-GE to see cinematics, first I tried steam play proton experimental and I was missing the cinematics for some reason.

Glorious Eggroll https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases
Glorious Eggroll was needed to display cutscenes
Game crashes if you go into final boss sequence with subtitles enabled

Proton-6.16-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Set PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 as one of launch flags for crackling audio
Almost completely gone after using PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60
Works great with Proton GE (currently required for cutscenes), had no problems with my Steam Controller, worked great out of the box. The only issue was with crackling audio which I've solved by adding a launch parameter.
Runs well but not perfect yet.
Game's fantastic, but you may want to wait for the videos for a stock experience
Controller works great, but for some reason, both with and without steam input enabled, it takes 60-70 seconds from game start for the controller to become responsive.
Shader compilation stutter is definitely noticeable, but as always will go away as you play (or after pre-caching). There are a couple videos in the game that currently display a color bar test screen, but that should be remedied "soon" on the backend via shader pre-caching. If you mind the skipped videos, waiting a short span for that to be remedied may be worthwhile.
With latest proton, everything works ootb, cutscenes and all. Excellent performances once the texture cache is loaded.

Playing with other than Proton GE, you wont get any videos, which are great part of the story.

Just disabled controller support, after reading other reports.
Very low FPS
Game launch well with Proton 4.11-13, but ingame, the FPS are low and there is a freeze every 1 sec. I tried to put the lowest resolution and lowest "config", but it changed nothing. Is it my hardware or is it Proton ? Idk, I try to find the solution
You can play it with 6.3 if you accept to not see the cut scenes (test image is displayed instead).
REcommendation is to use one of the Proton GE versions to see the cut scenes as they give much more athmosphere.
