Some times when people join they have to rejoin to start downloading custom maps
Decent experience but would recommend a game like golf with your friends if you want a perfect experience. That game is steam deck verified.
Not all controls seem to be properly mapped. They recently refreshed the ui which makes them getting it verified seem more reasonable. Hope they make the controls for steam deck better and the menu navigation with such more usable.

The game works fine and it has finally been updated to 1.0
low fps on very loaded maps
problems playing the first time it ran after updating, fixed it by just restarting the game
game throws an error with vulkan since the 1.0 update, had to switch to the dx10 option, no problems besides a slight hit on performance

Works with workshop items. Game always crashes when closing it, but this is irrelevant for playability.
The game works for me OOTB, I recommend open it with the Vulkan mode when you start the game.
The online works great, Host or Join, all works fine.

Sometimes everything gets "tinted" with some pink, glossy missing texture. Probably an issue with shaders. Requires a restart to fix.
Sometimes it takes a few reconnects to join a lobby, though this happens quite rarely.
default mapping on the steamdeck isn't great, should be changed, startup screen doesn't show every used button
usual ping/delay problems, nothing steamdeck or linux related
Games runs smooth on deck and if you change the button layout or learn an unusual layout it's even possible to have fun. But for now it's not a hassle free experience.
It runs amazingly and the workshop support is function so there is plenty of additional content

The Vulkan experimental version can have some visual issues, however the default Golf it! option runs perfectly

The usual mouse cursor stuck in fullscreen mode, switch to windowedd fullscreen to fix
Not sure if this is just from the game, but sometimes in multiplayer the very first hole can be very laggy

For some reason my ping all the time in Golf It has been over 800ms. Tried with another network providers too, same problem.

The Vulkan Backend currently does not launch. Dunno if it does neither on Windows but I think so as it is marked experimental. Just leave the note here. DX11 mode runs with no issues

Works well out of the box, playable without any extra effort.
Resolution settings would default back to 1920x1080 when re-entering the settings menu, regardless of what I had selected. As a result, unless I manually re-select my desired resolution when changing other settings, confirming any changes would reset my resolution to 1920x1080.
Occasional lag spikes that I don't get on the same hardware running Windows 10, but this was very slight- it happened 3 or 4 times in an 18 hole course, though I've yet to do further testing to see if I can get better performance.

vulkan mode crashes, gl mode is broken, entering the graphic menu may result in a freeze.
