Native is borked, freezes for several seconds every couple frames. Use proton.
Game is working as expected, cannot connect to servers yet as beta has not started.

If you are on Nvidia, make sure to either use Proton Experimental Bleeding Edge, or use an up-to-date unstable build of vkd3d (and replace the files yourself). There was a bug in vkd3d which prevents the game from starting otherwise.

Frequent geometry corruption, floating or "stuck" triangles, missing floor, walls, clothes, etc.
Low FPS at native resolution, frequent stutters
Matchmaking is opaque. Connection attempts and lobby/link joins will randomly fail with cryptic error messages. This is a technical beta however, so this much is expected
I have done extensive experiments trying to make this game run better, including setting arcane configuration variables in VKD3D, compiling libraries from scratch and lowering settings as much as possible. Despite this, I do not consider the game playable on my hardware in its current state in any of the configurations I have tested.

[DX12] Intermittent frame pacing issues in certain areas observed
Switching to DX12 gave me better overall performance at the cost of the aforementioned frame stutter. Running with mods requires custom wine DLL overrides.
Occasionally drops to 15 FPS on latest Nvidia drivers, must be resolved by rebooting. This did not happen before the driver upgrade.
Multiplayer does not work.
Constant crashing especially apparent in multiplayer. Seems to be mostly caused by pasting blueprints, though it's hard to nail down

Crashed once while in the T-Mart menu trying to sell stuff. No reproduction yet, may just be generic game bug unrelated to proton

EA's new launcher rendering the game completely unplayable on my system. Usually crashes after a while on "Preparing game..." or freezes on the same screen until the process is killed. Tried multiple proton versions (experimental, GE, northstar-proton, stable, 9.0 beta, as well as several older ones). Recreated prefix several times, tried installing and launching EA Desktop App manually, attempted to launch and debug EA background services by hand, all to no avail.
