2 dll's. d3dcompiler_47 and d3dx9
texture bugs may make the experience not that good

I was able to 100% the game.

Had a texture glitch on the title screen and some of the other textures, switching to Proton GE 9-20 fixed all of this and the game ran as expected.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
As of Proton 9.0-3, there are still flickers of textures and I suspect video cut-scene playback not working properly, but when using Proton-GE instead, the game ran perfectly without issues.
(Note: I had used WINED3D because my hardware is too old for DXVK)

Used Protontricks to install d3dcompiler_47 and d3dx9 required to fix flashing textures as recommended here and that worked. Using only GE didn't fix the flashes for me. (Use ProtonUp-Qt to install GE-Proton)
It was fixed after installing the dll's mentioned
Flashes, but fixed as described

d3dcompiler_47 and d3dx9 required to fix flashing textures

When using Proton 9.0-2 the game failed to launch, but launched immediately on the latest GE release. I haven't noticed any of the texture bugs reported by other users, graphics seem fine.

When loading into the world or levels the game slows down for about half a second, after that it runs normally
If you do not change the proton version you get graphic artifacting but with protonGE it runs perfectly
Basta instalar a ultima versão do proton GE.

Graphical glitches if using normal proton version. GE Proton required

I started by downloading the game on Steam and trying it with Proton Stable 9.0 and Proton Experimental. Both of these caused significant graphical degredations. Specifically, the intro sequence replaced the water and starting logo with RGB flashes that could trigger photosensitive epilepsy.
Based on other reports, I followed this guide to install Proton GE ("GE-Proton9-5") using ProtonUp-Qt, and it worked perfectly first time. I played for 3 hours, and found zero other bugs or issues.
Played for 3 hours with a friend. We both had a great time, and experienced no technical issues.
Default setup breaks, but GE-Proton9-5 is easy to install and works great!

Requires GE, experimental and hotfix didnt help with the flickering textures

BazziteOS

Needs GE-Proton otherwise it will have visual bugs/glitches

protontricks d3dx9 d3compiler_47
Don't do proton tricks game be very bugged out.

Runs but as serious visual glitches
Some surfaces have a very rapid flicker. You won't have fun with this game as of now.

With normal proton experimental many textures would be rainbow colored glitching

Playable but...
Altough the game is playable, there is some visual artifacting. Particularly on surfaces, which glow very bright. Game runs at 3440x1440 resolution @144 FPS. Dualsense works OK. I am using Wayland

glitches flashing everywhere
glithches flashs on a lot textures
it started just with proton experimental
flashing glitches everywhere
not works well on stesm deck by graphical bug
Worked perfectly fine besides one crash. Using the latest Proton GE. Played through every level plus a few hours in free roam.
Crashed once, right before the final level.
Like the other lego games, if your controller dies, you might have to restart the game.
Glad to see Proton GE improving, as I've seen the other reports on here say this game does not work so well.
Sometimes during cutscenes there seemed to be a bit of stuttering. Dialog 100% understandable
I beat several levels and was able to play in the open world. About 2 hours with no issues.
Game seems to run perfectly now using GE 30. Played for over 8 hours so far with not a single crash.

Installed d3dx9, d3dx9_41, d3dx9_42, d3dx9_43, vcrun2012, and vcrun2013. After all this was installed, the game runs flawlessly.
Could not fn+f11 out of full screen, and if you sign-out, alt-tab or do anything of the sort, the game will crash.
it worked.
Without any tinkering, this game will start, black screen, then crash. Running the game with bottles using GE-proton will boot the game but certian textures will be rainbow and flashy.
When using the stock Proton versions provided by Steam the games graphics glitch out horribly, GE Proton appears to fix these glitches and makes the game play as it should.
Random crashing during gameplay. Not sure exactly what triggers a crash...
Proton 7-3 and Proton Experimental would not boot. Proton GE 7-20 would boot, (installed via Linux Discover store) but I am getting full game crashing randomly.

The game can be launched and played without any problems using Proton Experimental (as of 2022/05/27).

Alt-tabbing crashes game.
Keeps having a glitch with flashes were it looks like a rainbow road on interactive assets on the menu or the cutscenes
I wasn't actually playing locally, but I did load a second player, and the screen has a stroke whenever the characters are too far apart and the screen splitting happens
At the end cutscene of the mission "lex is expecting you" it has crashed for me every single time (about 8 times in a row) at a sertain point before that, it starts to crash on every level, this seems to be the final playable level, before you're stuck
protontricks d3dx9 d3compiler_43
This was the first game I downloaded, so I honestly don't remember if the launch options are necessary. However the game has run perfectly so far for me
