Runs out of the box
game played flawless

Stutters on loading screens before new areas, super smooth once area is loaded on my setup, max graphical settings, 2560x1440, 'Unlimited FPS' (no FPS lock) setting

Works great in proton, minor issues with DX12
playing with DX12 lead to occasional crashes when loading into a map.
Works great in proton i did have some DX12 issues with the game crashing occasionally (enhanced edition) normal DX11 complete edition ran fine with no stability issues.

If you want the best graphics, DX12 with Raytracing, It will randomly run at 10fps, especially during and after some 'cutscenes' or scripts
My mouse would not move the game until I press Escape and then Escape again
Using Dx12 'Enhanced Edition' mode, Would randomly make the game run at 10fps
The game randomly getting stuck at 10fps after some cutscenes in DX12 mode kills the fun, rather play it on Windows. Also, it stutters really badly, frametimes are terrible.
Works Amazingly well. Just Install and play via proton.

The game runs perfectly. I had no issues at all.
locked@30 fps

Lots of stuttering, missing textures, etc.

Chernobylite runs extremely well, I was able to launch and play with no problems and have had a very good experience. Absolutely beautiful looking game! Running using DX12 option.
Only issues I notice is when trying to use Ray Tracing. At all levels, objects that have "lights" in them (i.e. flashlights, mirror's, etc.) will have a very annoying flicking effect that is only present when using RT. This happens at all levels of RT used. Not a huge problem, but something to consider if wanting to enable this option.

Works out of the box ! Enhanced performance with DX11.
Installs and starts without issues.

I can't in good faith say that most gamers would enjoy the performance slowdowns in certain areas (generally outdoors).
Reduce the game down to LOW settings, then set FXAA to Medium, Textures to high, effects to Medium. It'll run mostly stable.
If the developers worked on optimization the issue I experienced could potentially be resolved.

RT causes pure white sparkles, most noticeable on Ultra

When i use some inventory items, fps drops to 5-10
massive fps drop
ONLY after switching to Proton 5.13-6 was I able to progress in the game
Thank God I saw the suggestion to switch to Proton 5.13-6, I would've never considered switching to such an old version otherwise. The game plays fine OOTB but, at some point, levels will NOT load and the game freezes up and I have to force quit. The video cut scenes, unfortunately, are completely white and "punch" me in the eyes (whereas they worked OOTB with the default Proton), but the levels load and play fine otherwise.
Launchscreen and loadscreens has no animations.
With default Proton Version and GE-7-54, after a few saves, I cannot load the last checkpoints so I switched to the Proton Version recommended by this post for the Steamdeck. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1016800/discussions/1/3820783808420401093/ With this Version, the issue with checkpoints are gone.
I played the DX11 Version of the game.

After switching to ProtonGE the game started. It's playable, all's good. The only downside is that during ingame videos the screen is black.
During videos the sound works, but the screen remains black
For me the game didn't start with both Proton Experimental and Proton 8.0.
в настройках игры ограничения в 30 кадров, средние настройки графики
на минимальных настройках плохая видимость
на минимальных настройках - мыло
зависание на загрузке

CryoUtilities 2.0 with 4 GB of VRAM
Item pick-up and tutorial pop-ups are too small
Crashes under DirectX 11 upon loading to main menu, but DirectX 12 works fine
Out of the box, the game will look and run trash, but it is easy to fix it. Install CryoUtilities 2.0 with recommended settings; 4 GB VRAM is a must. Everything is Low, except High Textures, Medium FXAA (!!!), and Medium Effects. Of course, FSR has to be OFF, otherwise, it is terrible. Lock refresh rate and fps to 40 - stays mostly stable, with some dips to mid-30s.
Train part of initial level is heavily laggy. Any outdoor part of the levels are laggy no matter the setting. Indoor segments run mostly fine.
Performance is generally unpleasant and is a major turn-off. Even on low it isn't consistent and does not run well.
Set graphical settings to low
The game freezes on the loading screen after the main menu if graphical settings are set to ultra by default.
Framarate is a bit low for what I would expect in a game like this, but works fine otherwise.
No issues found
Manually installed Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables through steam desktop mode. Both X86 & X64.
Added to steam library, forced compatibility with proton experimental, ran both exe's to install. Ran the game and fixed the crashing on loading screens.
Fixed issues when MSVC++ installed
Runs good, but requires lower graphical settings than expected.
Once in a while (few hours gameplay) the sound is cut and I hear nothing but cracks until the sound is finished. Then the game sound continues as it should.
Had to lower graphics settings to medium. Everything above did not make it to 60fps
PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
When I enable Nvidia DLSS support, the game freezes indefinitely when loading. Only a couple of times I was able to successfully load the level. I also then did not help the re-exclusion to use FSR the problem was the same
Loading freeze
Note: I was experiencing a few less frames on the default protons; hence why I am using GloriousEggroll.
However these were minimal frame drops of 5ish frames.

Initially mouse is not working after starting the game, but clicking some keys on keyboard seems to fix the issue.
Once, the game was refusing to load the saved game. Had to load some older save.
Had to turn on FSR to maintain 75 FPS.
Works out of box, no tinker needed.
Random Heavy flickering when enabling FSR either via in game menus or via steam deck
7 fps when starting the game at the train. Fixed itself somewhat when i left the train
FSR does not work ok. May cause heavy flickering. Its the only way to play with raytracing. If you play without ray trace it works ok
Game is currently unplayable with the current graphical white screen glitch and poor perfprmance. ;(
After the crafting tutorial the screen goes almost entirely white with some black squares on screen. Note I havent tested the dx11 version yet.
Initial scene runs at 10-20 fps.
Performance issues on both versions of DX. Unsure if the graphics issues are present in both versions.
Note, repots on reddit indicate these issues are new to the game since the Enhanced version released.
Game might crash on loads, but it's usually okay since it crashes after saving. Quitting & continuing will get u back on track fast
Runs great on 3060-Ti with ultra settings 1440p 75FPS lock with FSR 1.0 on Ultra Quality. For some reason I cannot enable DLSS option even with the NVAPI command so it could run better if that ever becomes possible. Can't compare to Windows performance no more but I'm def happy with this
runs great!
Runs flawlessly
Game runs great, no issues at all.
