Had a white screen when installing thru Steam, a Lutris install fixed it

Very-very low framerate for a game from 2001
It ran at 10-20 fps max and lowering the graphics didn't do much
Completely borked after Capcom added the Enigma DRM, worked fine before that
Works pretty much pefectly, played more than 100 hours and still going strong into Iceborne
It's been a big problem for me to make mods like Skippable Cutscenes work, but with help from reddit I figured that to make it work you need to install version 2.2.0 of Stracker's and switching to Proton 6.3.8, works like a charm.
The game gives a black screen on any Proton version newer than 4.11-13, no solution I've found online would fix this. The game works smoothly on older proton versions.
The Linux port to me was much more stable and playable than the Windows version under any proton version
The cursor would move uncomfortably after alt+tabbing
For some reason neither Proton Experimental or Proton GE made the game work the way I wanted, every time you alt+tab and come back the cursor movements become very laggy, which basically ruins the whole playing experience. I have no idea why people hate the linux port so much, since it worked for me pretty well, with the exception of no Unified PC Play.

Proton version runs better than the Windows version, since there is no crashes from lack of support of DS4 or from using fullscreen mode.
For some strange reason Steam lost track of my Dualshock 4, but holding the PS button while the game was loading in helped to solve the issue.
