Disable D3d11 improves performance noticeably on this machine and is recommended, but is not strictly required. Either way, settings and resolution still need turned way down to run at a reasonable framerate. Not sure if that's because of Proton or if it would've been slow on this machine in Windows, too.

Only the launcher works, then immediate crash when trying to run the game.
Worked automatically with my DualShock 4, no configuration needed. Performance, fullscreen, sound, all flawless.
Cannot launch game, and cannot launch settings, no matter what Proton compatibility settings are used.
Might need "PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60". Otherwise runs perfectly and supports DualShock 4.
Character is invisible, and sometimes monsters, too. Shadows are still visible though, as is the character's weapon, so the game technically is playable. Great framerate and DualShock 4 support.
Opens a blank window for a few seconds then exits. Nothing seems to help.
Displays main menu and plays music, but immediately locks up and goes completely unresponsive. Compatibility settings don't make any difference.
Doesn't work at all outside of pure software mode. And although this isn't a Proton issue, it should be noted that you're pretty much Sh..-Out-Of-Luck if you have any intention of playing this with an even remotely modern control scheme (even wasd-mouse) without major hacks (ie completely replacing the entire engine).

Will not run period without completely replacing the entire engine with a third party hack. Even "__GL_ExtensionStringVersion=17700" doesn't work. Does not work with any combination of that plus and of the standard Proton compatibility tweaks.
Error about .NET on first run. If using "Disable D3d11", a blank window will show up and nothing will happen. Otherwise, it won't even get that far without crashing.
Didn't used to run, but started working fine for me AFTER I upgraded my kernel from 4.14.77 to 4.19.4 and my GPU driver from 3.0 Mesa 18.2.3 to 3.0 Mesa 18.2.5. The Disable D3d11 setting is required for it to run. Performance isn't great, but it is playable with settings and resolution turned all the way down. I don't know if that's because of Proton or my hardware, and I don't typically run Windows on this machine and can't compare.
