It had some minor issues in earlier versions of Proton, but with the current beta at least it seems to be running perfect with no problems I can find after a few hours of playing it.
Only ran it for about 20 minutes or so, but it ran great, gave me no problems at all. Looking forward to doing a more thorough test with a full play through.
Only tried a few races, but everything ran perfectly. My 360 controller was recognized and worked properly right from the start.
Game runs just fine, but there are several issues with the gameplay that I can't say for sure if they are related to SteamPlay/Proton or just vanilla game bugs. In the tutorial level I have to get within point-blank range to shoot the white orbs containing the attack drops. When I finally do blow them up, I collect the drops but they don't add the new attack types to my player, leaving me stuck with only the initial attack. After the tutorial level, it becomes common for the character to get stuck in the ground, leaving me with no option but to jump around to get around. I've never played this native, so I don't know if these are common issues with the game or not.
Launched and ran without issues. Seems solid, though I'll need to give it more prolonged playtime to know for sure, looks good so far though.
Launched and ran without issues. Only played about 40 minutes, but it's a pretty simple game, I doubt it will run into issues if it hasn't already.
I haven't run into any troubles with this at all. Though I didn't need to change the resolution like others have, so not sure if that causes the crash others described or not.
I played this through to completion twice and got 100% achievements. Haven't run into a single issue and performance was pretty good the whole way through. I didn't have to set any flags or anything like some others mentioned here, just installed and played.
Crashes after showing splash screens. It might need a 32-bit prefix. Haven't tested. https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/99e0kc/steam_playguide_create_custom_32bit_prefix_to/
You have to press a button after it launches to get your screen to change to the full screen game (I press space or enter). Sometimes it makes system unresponsive when you choose to quit the game. Tab out and close from your taskbar instead. Otherwise it plays perfectly for me. Mods works as well (Silent Patch, controller support, widescreen fix). https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=641839127
Menus and UI are all missing/broken. Game starts up to black screen, but you can hear the music playing and if you move the mouse around you can eventually hear when you pass over a button, if you can click on the top of them, you can start the game. Cutscene videos play fine, and other than the missing UI the gameplay itself seems to work just fine.
Adding "-interline" without quotes as a launch options fixes the choppy video playback. Everything else runs fine so far.
I had one crash a few hours in, but I don't think it had anything to do with Proton. Since it launched just fine and played with solid performance over a few sessions and several hours, I'd call this platinum.
Tried out about 4 of the games, all seemed to work as expected. No performance issues.
Trying to switch to full screen crashes it. But otherwise it runs great and without issue.
This ran better for me through Proton than it would through Windows these days. It's still a buggy crashy mess if you don't add in at least the unofficial patch for it though, but that isn't SteamPlays fault.
Doesn't start; it requires Aero. It probably won't ever run, unless devs finally cave in and port it.
