Can't pass the main menu
I tried using Wine, Proton Experimental, 6.3-8, 5.13-6 and 5.0-10 and none of them worked, I also tried using Gamemode but still can't pass the main menu.
With Pop_OS I couldn't pass the main menu, but now with KDE neon I runs perfect.
The firsts times I opened the game and the Vulkan Shaders were processing I had around 18 FPS, but when the Vulkan Shaders finish loading, the performance it's just like on Windows.
I'm using Proton 7.0-1.
It runs perfect. Just install and play :)
This game runs perfect with Solus, i'm surprised, I just choosed Proton 7.0, installed the game, and play.
Can't pass the main menu on PopOS.
I tried this game on Pop OS 21.10 and 22.04 but I couldn't pass the main menu. This only happens to me on Pop OS. In KDE Neon or Solus it runs great. I tried using proton 7.0, experimental and Glorius Eggroll 7-15.

Si uso Proton 7 no puedo llegar al menú, tengo que cambiar a proton 6.3-8

I've used Proton instead of native because in native I couldn't change the refresh rate.
I've used Gamemode to solve the performance issues.
Try not to minimize and maximize the game. I think it's due to system76-scheduler of PopOS.
When I minimize it and maximize it again, sometimes the game starts running very bad, like 16 FPS. Maybe its due to system76-scheduler.
When I go to Display in settings, if i'm on game, an error about directX appears and the game freezes. This doesn't happen if i'm on the main menu.
I tried using Proton Experimental, 7.0-1, 5.9-GE-8-ST, 7.2-GE-2, 6.3-8 and 5.13-6 but none of them worked correctly

A little bit worse performance than on Windows
Whithout any tinkering, the performance was awful. It wasn't playable until I put gamemoderun PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% (if you dont have gamemode put PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%)
The game runs perfectly with Proton-6.21-GE-2, you can also use gamemode if you want, i didn't try that.
How to install Proton-6.21-GE-2: Exit Steam completely Go to https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/6.21-GE-2 Download the Proton-6.21-GE-2.tar.gz file Extract it Go to /home/YOUR USERNAME/.local/share/Steam/ Create a folder wich is called literally compatibilitytools.d Copy the Proton-6.21-GE-2 folder into compatibilitytools.d Open Steam, change the proton version to Proton-6.21-GE-2 Then go to the game, force Steam to use Proton-6.21-GE-2 (you can find it in Properties>Compatibility) Open the game Wait a couple of seconds, then a window sould appear downloading things And then the game launcher starts.
