Currently June of 2023, Steam released a UI update which is crashing games trying to call the overlay. Login via gamersfirst account.
some studders but overall runs just fine
10/10 .. with most multiplayer in my experience online isn't a problem until it's really garbage. This game online, offline, and everything else is great.
Linux will run on a lot of old hardware. But don't expect modern games to be so kind. That isn't a shortcoming of the OS. Be kinder to all developers or at the very least stroke their ego while berating them. You can't have it both ways.
Everything runs amazing and I would recommend this game to pc linux.

slight stuttering but not bad enough to keep me from playing 3 hours the first time I installed

Initial launch and intro missions played well. No multiplayer ..immediately kicked from game
Nothing bad yet. I'll change my review if something coms up but this works pretty well. I think it helps the game is overall dark but still.
So far it's running w/o any tweaks
played and saved multiple times. Went to my Solas saved, logged out, exited came back and I was basically at my 15min mark.

Standard nothing besides steam recommendations
Some stutter no significant hit to cpu or gpu temp/speed but did drop frame significantly. Audio never died or fell out of sync. It's only happened twice in almost 20 hours.

steam and bottles... I really had no issues with getting either to launch with default settings.
again most options for launching or configuring worked with out any major issues.
Tabbing worked off and on. Blacks screens was an issue at times as well.

Dear Santa .. Please ask Origin to give us R6 for christmas. We're not sure where the world is right now, and well .. it sucks right now. So R6 would be a real nice treat. - MILLIONS of Fans (a lot who can't play cause linux)
Couldn't stay connected more than 15 minutes at a time, sometimes less. About every 5-7 crashes the launcher would also crash. This is all running through Lutris
I say weak because sometimes I'd be able to do 5 floors of summit and then get kicked. Sometimes I'd get through only a floor. But it always relaunched and I have zero problems actually connecting back in and rejoining the crew
I love this game and I will continue to watch for the improvements. There are a few games that I'd had to wait a long time to play again and this is one of them.
The first launch I got past the EULA, I made my 2K account and then it crashed.
Tried several Proton versions +defaults and it just keeps crashing. Really bumbed about this, but same behavior on my deck.
