Works perfectly out of the box. Zero configuration required
Used a portion of the following guide to install BeamMP: https://www.reddit.com/r/BeamMP/comments/oi67rf/beammp_on_linux_guide/
The game runs great, multiplayer works great. Zero configuration required to get the game itself to work. No complaints here!
Game repeatedly crashed on launch without "ttf-font-awesome" and "xdg-user-dirs" packages installed, works out of the box otherwise and is noticably more performant than Windows on the same hardware.

Under the OpenGL implementation, some textures have problems loading or flat out do not load, primarily observable on gloves
Loading in-game statistics from the cloud takes an extremely long time, even under optimal network conditions
Vulkan implementation randomly starts lagging really bad periodically, requiring a restart
Under both graphical implementations, the game commonly segmentation faults on launch
I'm hoping the sequel does not have these issues
gamemoderun RADV_PERFTEST='gpl' VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11 %command%
Xbox Live-related menus are extremely buggy, but, with some patience you are able to log-in
Runs a consistent 144fps on my rig with Extreme preset under Proton with the launch options above. Gamemoderun seemingly helps the buggy Xbox menu situation. Overall, happy
Works out of the box. Zero configuration required
Was surprised by how out of the box this game is considering CS:GO, a game built on the same engine and released 6 years later, somehow barely works at all

Installed MegaHack using this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYQBQ4xNb_0. Seemingly required for high refresh rate play.
Slight hitches occasionally, nowhere near as bad or as frequent as Windows
If you want to play this game at a high refresh rate with MegaHack, you will need to do some tinkering. If not, you're probably good to go
The game "works" out of the box, however, playing higher than minimum settings or on a playable resolution will require trying fixes.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
Runs significantly worse than under native Windows on the same hardware, even after extensive tinkering. Still more than playable, but certainly noticable.
Steam Overlay crashes game, MSAA above 4x causes extreme performance problems, cursor does not appear in Social Club
Just force Proton and you are good to go
The Linux native version fails to launch sometimes
The Linux native version of this game is stripped of online play, so you will need to run the game under Proton to access multiplayer
Game runs great, no problems using my Bluetooth controller
Not only works OOTB, runs better than it does on Windows
I'm assuming this game wasn't Linux compatible on launch based on previous reports; no longer the case. Runs at 150fps consistently with Balanced FSR, High ray tracing, and Epic settings, I cannot even run the game this well on Windows. Definitely deserving of a Platinum rating!
