If you just want to click Play on steam its probably nothing for you because for some people it maybe works but not for everyone i think.
Significant Bugs:
If you want to install steam Workshop mods it will not work that good. I meen it works but not every time. Also if you want to launch it with Steam it didnt work for me, i needet the Arma 3 Unix Launcher.

you cant join servers. Its just all servers have Eac i think it was EAC, but i didnt work you cant connect to these servers.

I would not recommend it at this point maybe a new Proton version fixes it. The game is Playable but it isn't running good at least for me.
Performance:Significant Performance Problems
The Game is just frequently lagging it is basically unplayable, until you reach a Point at the game where it is getting less but still running pretty bad. I also tried some of these starparameters some people are using didn't made any difference as well.

BUT BEWARE, do not download it! I had to copy the raw data and paste it in a textfile. Downloading the file did not work, it had strange DOS characters in it, which where invisible. Leads to ": /bin/bash^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory"

I compared with windows and i chose the same preset on both Windows and Linux and the preset i used on Linux got like crappy 50fps with a high frame time, on windows tho i got locked 60fps no problem i could even put the everything way higher and it would still run better as it did on Linux sadly.
