If you don't use the older Proton version, then you get problems with the camera view. Your view will be forced to the top if you move your mouse to strong.
Note: I have found an Non-VR Bug I think this bug exists as well without Proton: in the Trial it is possible that you can't see the entire hint table. Your view of the hint table is cut, therefore you must out of sight use trial and error till your choosen hint get accepted.
With the current proton version, the game now works out of the box.

Note: Previously I have played with Proton version 6.3-8 and did the mentioned tinkering with xact_64 via protontricks. Now tinkering is not more needed with Proton 7.0-1.
The game works perfectly, except for the green and red pixels.
In the "Tech Orbs menu" some green and red pixels but these disappear if you activate "Motion Blur" in the Options.

Only the launch screen and main title screen have a green bar overlay at the bottom of the screen, but this disappears immediately once loaded into the actual game.

Can not delete save games, returns an error (Steam Cloud synchronization enabled) But you can manual delete save games in the game folder, if Steam Cloud is disabled.

Game performs well overall. The game's performance drops dramatically after reaching Hawaii, especially Hawaii in the morning (sun, light reflections etc), maintaining a stable 60 FPS cap is then more difficult, but with a little tinkering with the game options it should be no great issue.

Note: If you are using a controller, then you can't holding any button but this is also an issue for Windows users. Solution: Play with mouse/keyboard or remap keyboard keys via STEAM to your controller.

The game works perfectly, except for pachinko.
If the game is set to "Fullscreen" (the default), alt+tab does not function correctly and you'll get some flickering. Setting the game to Borderless Fullscreen fixed this entirely.

Only the pachinko minigames will not work: attempting to start it (entering a pachinko parlor or selecting the option via the main menu) will crash the game. But the pachinko minigames are not really worth the effort to get it to run.
