Some text are tiny or very hard to read
Game is made with Unity, then at some places instancing the waves of zombies the game froze to 0 FPS for long minutes and the device became extremely hot. Each wave did the same, on the third wave I had to reboot the deck as I feared it to be damaged by the extreme heat.
Played with no issues.
The game works near perfectly
very minor audio stuttering when starting up the game and viewing the menu, but does not occur when battles are happening.
as far as performance goes, it seems to be slightly better then Windows which surprised me. Otherwise the game functions entirely how you'd expect it to.
Works with Proton-6.21-GE-2 (I didn't try other versions)

Runs really well. I can't notice any downsides.
Using the latest GE Proton with mangohud, vkBasalt, gamemode and the ACO compiler.
Works out without any tweaks.
works flawlessy

ran either the SAME as windows, or better but crashed. only played twice on my two different machines though
I played on two machines, almost identical hardware really. this one, runs a msi b350m mortar motherboard, and 1800x cpu. while the other is a gigabyte aorus b450m and a 2400g. the ram is similar, main difference is the 1800x has fancy rgb corsair vengeance at 3000mhz max, while the 2400g runs a non rgb set at 3200mhz. the other machine ran like windows does, at about 8fps with a decent size army, interestingly, I got anywhere upto 20 fps on the 1800x machine, but it crashed about halfway through the battle. probably the biggest difference between the machines, is I run dual monitors, but i'm not sure it was connected at the time. (this was actually written nearly a week later) both were run under my steam account, with one of the storm trooper mods vs evil zombies. I turned most settings down a little, but i always enable infinite body height. something like 500 or 1000 storm troopers vs 50,000 zombies. (i know, way too high, but i like the scale...)
Out of the box
Works like a charm no issues at all
The performance was simply to bad with only 2000 troops and with low settings
Some soldiers did not have a weapon
The performance was very bad with high settings and not good at low settings too
Works fine!
Flatpak proton; flatpak install com.valvesoftware.Steam.CompatibilityTool.Proton

Does actually work with Proton 4.11 + Wine D3D11
It does open up with Proton 4.11-13 and launch options:
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
I'm aware that it just doesn't work because my PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

Overall really good, performance for me was perfectly fine, FPS over 100 and no stutter
Some crashes with proton-experimental. After I switched to Proton-6.0-GE the game ran well and didn't crash further
Works perfectly depending on CPU obviously.
Obviously 50,000 chickens vs 1000 T-Rex are going to slow down anyone's system, but fps was adequate and it was a good battle.
Worked perfectly for me
Just works

Runs perfectly out of the box without any issues

Had to repair files after first (with no problems) start. But i had max 11 fps ingame. May because my hardware isnt good enough. Restored Purchase

Played a few hours without any problems, as UEBS is a bit buggy at the best of times it's hard to tell if the occasional frame rate stutter is due to proton or not

Gave up on this game a few months ago. I tried it again with the latest proton version and suddenly it just started working, at medium settings I got the same performance as native windows. Although one thing I did differently this time around was make sure I had all the recommended drivers installed i.e Vulkan. Not sure if this had anything to do with it. Anyway works for me perfect.

game ran after i removed the "nod3d11" tag i had set up from testing last time, i've gone from playing this game on a gtx 1050 on windows 10, to a r270, as far as i can tell this card is mostly better, but i'm not quite getting the same FPS as the gtx (i'd average a measly 8fps, (with 50,000 zombies across one of the city maps.) now the game struggles to hold that with probably around 2000 entities on screen. it could be the graphics card swap (windforce oc 2x), but the game seems to struggle with pathfinding a lot more too. on average in other games, i get similar or slightly higher fps, making this the oddball.

Just a few tiny mouse issues, just click in another window before clicking in the game again if the mouse cursor goes out of the game window, then all is fine !

UEBS loads fine, once video driver is updated and 'windowed' mode is selected. I'm experiencing a lack of fonts other than the main menu.

oops. forgot to change proton version, the fedora post was actually tested on default with esync, then tried with beta 3.16-4 for the comprehensive test.

fedora unable to start game, executable seems to insta-crash. tried eync, nod3d11, and wined3d switches from steam launcher

In game text now fixed; game functionality and mods work fine.

Many fonts in the game don't render.

Worked perfectly after upgrade to 3-16.4 beta. I only played it in windowed mode. Also compared to windows the frame rate struggled at some points. However this is a huge jump as the game was previously unplayable.

Doesn't work soon as you try to run it. Failed to initialize graphics. Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed

Game loads with Unity standard graphics mode after a brief blank screen, but the in game menu text is missing on most menus. It is possible to play only the FPS Invasion game mode.

After the main window loads, a black screen is shown and the PC freezes. No keyboard input possible; the mouse pointer moves but it's inoperable.
