Game wouldn't start initially, after setting launch options to PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
it ran fine. with Proton 4.11-13.
Had to switch server to Europe and back to North America before being able to connect to North America games, but after that no problems.
Works perfectly out of the box, but fails to launch on an NTFS drive. Ran perfectly when I moved it to an EXT4 disk.
Menus and UIs are very laggy compared to on Windows
Occasionally UI buttons would simply become unresponsive, requiring a restart
Loading a map took upwards of 2 minutes to become playable as opposed to maybe 20-30 seconds on windows, cars also took much longer to load
gamescope -W 1600 -H 900 -- %command%
Had to use Gamescope, else fullscreen would not detect my full resolution
Aside from minor graphics artifacts and fighting to get it to play nice with fullscreen, it runs perfectly fine.
Odd artifacting around edges of some objects, almost like broken AA
Fullscreen is very finnicky, toggling mode will break it until restart
Works just as well as on Windows fresh out of the box. No launch options needed, even works on an NTFS filesystem.
It runs flawlessly. I don't see why normal Proton couldn't handle it; I just have Proton GE as my default.
Doesn't even launch on native regardless of various combinations of tinkering and arguments. Proton launches but is not playable at all.
gamemoderun %command% -novid -vulkan -nojoy -nosteamcontroller -nohltv -noquicktime
Took a while to load into the game compared to Windows 10 on the same hardware
Cannot play online. Even with -steam and -secure arguments, gives the infamous insecure error.
Some special characters missing from font, some strings showing up incorrectly as templates
No dice with 7.0-6, 9.0-3, Experimental, Hotfix, or GE 9.20
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Doesn't work in Lutris either
Tried for hours to get the game to run either inside or outside of Steam. I can't even get the EA launcher to launch when using Lutris.
Does actually work with Proton 4.11 + Wine D3D11
It does open up with Proton 4.11-13 and launch options:
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
I'm aware that it just doesn't work because my PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements.
