In my prison the prisoners didn't take any programms. Witch is a important Part for making a great prison
Occasional graphic glitches where my bottom panel would be. Usually resolved by running my mouse over it or switching between applications.
Worked without any issues.

native works completely fine, but the windows version with proton hard crashes after a hour or so and i dont know why but tried proton ge, base proton, and experiemental but still crashes
just stick with native
Flawless Native Experience OOTB
Used to work out of the box, now it doesn't.

game flashing in and out of existance
The game ended up flashing the desktop every time I clicked anything
Native it doesn't even launch

Boots natively after libssd install but window cannot be focused on Pop_OS
Doesn't work under Proton either. Only boots under experimental, and after that it hangs every few seconds with a "not responding" system dialog.
crashes randomly in native, crashing my entire WM, in proton it hard crashes the entire system.
Was fine but launcher is annoying
The standard Prison experience you would expect. No issues
Works great out of box

Have to start in safe mode
After 30min fps drops to 4

Works fine native, even with the Paradox launcher
Had to "fix" borderless window mode in KWin by toggling the "Fullscreen" flag on the game window, otherwise it wouldn't draw over the taskbar. Could just be a KWin thing.

Happy as a clown! Works natively, OOTB without any lags or bugs!
Install and play, no proton, and smooth. Loving it!

Works great
may be the first time a game actually ran natively without issues for me

fast time, rotate, escape
some menus are small
fps falling to 3!
you need to reduce fps to 30 and lower than native (auto) resolution.

Native didn't work proton works flawlessly
For some reason the game will randomly drop a 100+ prisoners on me, I have no idea why it's driving me insane
When playing the native version, the games thought it was pirated, causing it to spawn in 100 prisoners

proton did not work, native worked well

Black Screen on Native and Proton. Will Freeze Gnome
Starts the launcher natively and via Proton, but starting the game only shows a black screen with background music in fullscreen as well as windowed. Focusing the game will freeze Gnome.
There is a known issue that sets the screen reolution to 0x0 in the settings.txt and preferences.txt under
SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/233450/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Introversion/Prison Architect/
but that doesnt fix the problem. Couldn't find the config files for the Linux port
it just werks
fun game

Great native client, no proton needed!
Fun if you like building your own prison
Runs as native on proton experimental
Does not luanch
i cant get it to luanch its sad that a native game dosent luanch on linux.
This game was clearly designed for large screens and a mouse. It will work, but it's not the addictive experience that you might get from playing it on the desktop.
Game itself appears to be a little buggy - but is fine
Bugs in a couple campaign missions that are unlikely Proton related.

Had to change the file to launch in Heroic launch settings to {gamefolder}/Launcher/dowser.exe
Works fine if you run it with Proton rather than native, surprisingly

(GOG version) Works good
Played GOG version with Proton 7.0-1.

Arch: sudo pacman -S libbsd
Ubuntu: sudo apt install libbsd-dev
Fedora: sudo dnf install libbsd

Install: libbsd.x86_64 : Library providing BSD-compatible functions for portability
GG
Both via Proton and native work fine. However for native I had to install the libbsd
package, otherwise it would not launch
