Game is playable has a few hiccups here and there.Use proton over native. -oldgameui to fix start screen ui.
Works as well as it would on Windows
No issues running it. IDK what the other recent reports are talking about.
PROTON_ENABLE_NGX_UPDATER=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr,dxr11,force_static_cbv VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_2 PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 gamemoderun %command% --intro-skip -skipStartScreen --launcher-skip -dx12
Textures artifact or seem to degrade at further distances with DLSS enabled. More than on Windows.
With the launch options you can use Ray tracing and it runs well enough to play. 70-80fps with my settings on a 3080
gamemoderun %command% -skipintro -nosplash
Dayz will crash immediately after launch without running this command: sudo sysctl -w vm.max_map_count=1048576
No issues playing. Skip using proton it works perfect Native.
Multiplayer and singleplayer work fine. Actually able to play 5 speed with 4 other friends so it might be faster than windows.
Only issue I've had is if I run it natively I crash immediately on launch unless I launch it in proton beforehand. Weird bug and could be on my end but putting this here just in case.
Windowed mode goes over my KDE taskbar. Just auto hide taskbar and it fixes itself.
gamemoderun %command%
Windowed option results in black screen and MAV
Selecting any resolution above 1920 x 1080p results in Memory access violation. Windowed mode results in black screen.
