Native Support
Although this game has a Linux-native build available, Steam does not list it as having Linux support. This can happen if a game has an unofficial, unfinished, or unsupported build. You may need to force Steam to enable Proton for the game in order to run properly.

This game runs at its best when it is run through Proton. Native is playable, but has worse performance.

Played through the whole game on the Native build, VERY minor graphical issue that I didn't notice while playing that Proton fixes.
Native build has strange lines that don't seem to be fully smooth. It's hard to explain but they are very minor and go away when using Proton.

Perfect out of the box.
Did not notice any input lag like others have said, no freezing, nothing to complain about. Dualsense worked good, you might just have to remap some of the controls ingame.

Played with Proton Experimental and didn't notice any input lag as others had mentioned. Everything else worked great using default settings.

Proton introduces input lag, Native linux runtime has low resolution... Once you pick your poison the game runs consistently.
Native runs at lower resolution for some reason, causing blurry text
Lower (non-native) resolution using linux runtime, can be fixed by running Proton which sadly introduces input lag
Input lag when ran under Proton
Use proton on steam deck, graphical issues with native version. Just pick a proton version under 'compatibility', works with v7.
Works well, but not perfectly.
Mouse cursor is visible
Mild screentearing
Clicking with mouse causes game to freeze, by touchscreen or button mapped to click.
Using controller-based controls only works well. Unsupported rating by Valve is likely because they tried to click in the menu which freezes the game.
Mapped the character selection function to the X and B buttons using the in-game settings.
In one level the on-screen display of voice-over text is cut off at the bottom of the screen.
Due to the small size of the Steam Deck's screen the lines that make up characters and environments aren't as smooth as they would be on a bigger screen and appear slightly pixelated. In a few levels portal outlines are only half visible, but the portals are still easily spotted.
Played the entire game (incl. all bonus levels) on Steam Deck. Aside from some graphical degradations due to the Steam Deck's small screen resolution the game is completely playable without any issues.
Works better with Proton even though it's native.
glitched audio when restarting level
could not set resolution in native mode. use proton
controls not working in native. use proton
native version has various issues. proton 6.3 worked almost flawlessly
