Due to a very small screen the difference between low-med-high graphics is non existent so I used low settings and I did not bother finding more optimal graphics configuration. However, I used FSR2 balanced to get my desired framerate which is 40. You can use FSR2 quality if you like, there is enough GPU headroom, but the game uses 25W however I tune it so expect battery to last 2 hours at most with LCD SteamDeck which is 3 hours at most on the OLED model.

Also I had to manually chose Proton 9 for some reason which I am not sure if it should be classified as tinkering or not.

Windowing:Switching

Fullscreen actually works, but alt-tab back and fort freezes the game so you need to alt-tab two more times to unfreeze it.

There is a small glitch with the game in fullscreen when you alt-tab to any other application and alt-tab back to the game it appears frozen. So you need to alt-tab one more time to any other appliacation and back to the game to unfreeze it. Other than this I have not experienced any issues.

I ran Steam in a Gamescope session from tty2

When launched from X11 Steam session everything works except the game stutters in a weird way that does not reflect on Steam fps counter but I see it with my eyes. Then I started Steam from tty2 via completely separate Gamescope session, like SteamDeck does it, and then eveything was perfectly smooth and amazing. Just like on my SteamDeck.

Just shows HELLO GAMES logo and then exits. I tried new Kisak Mesa, default Ubuntu Mesa, I tried Proton GE, Proton 8, Proton Experiemental. I tried launch commands that other people recommend. I tried Wayland, I tried X11. Nothing changes the fact that the game exits after showing company logo.
