Forced Proton
Started Running, Didn't Even Show Up Before Stopping

Works
Had to disable Steam Input for controller to work

Runs Perfectly Native
Runs Native OOTB

Runs perfectly!
Because of my old hardware i had to use proton not native and with the GE version it hadn't started.
Great free platformer game for anyone to enjoy. Specially for those that wants to scratch that super mario itch

Great Linux native game. Originally designed for Linux only so good performance was expected.
Also try SuperTuxKart
Good Mario clone, albeit Linuxified.

Runs in Native, as it should be.
I don't know what is everyone's problem when they said they can't run this game natively, maybe they don't have the correct libraries needed and decided to go for the lazy approach A.K.A. Proton.
Native is broken, proton works

3W TDP 60FPS

Whenever focusing on a window on my secondary monitor the game minimises.
When unpluging & reconecting a controller it stops working. When alt+tabing or clicking off & back onto the game input becomes extremely laggy for quite a while.
