Runs straight out of the box with some modifications to add in cwdohnal's OpenGL driver and ALAudio driver over at OldUnreal.
As stated on the summary, I downloaded the OpenGL driver's at cwdohnal's site https://www.cwdohnal.com/utglr/ as well as the ALAudio driver https://www.oldunreal.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1399614715 and put it in the System folder where DeusEx is installed. Had to add .old at some of the original files before doing a copy and paste of the 3rd party drivers in, just to be on the safe side.
These drivers are handy on making this game run on modern computers, especially the ALAudio drivers for those who complain how the Galaxy Audio driver make the voices sound grainy.
This game has a HUGE steeping curve, so if you don't like to get into the real technicalities on this wrestling game, this isn't for you.
It doesn't want to load on the experimental and when I do managed to get it up and running it freezes when loading a match.
Installs and runs with no issue, however everything froze up when you start the inital game itself.
What I mean is that when you start the game, there's a menu that pops up for bowl, settings, privacy, etc, that's where everything frozed up.
Runs right out of the box
For some strange reason, it wasn't showing up on the game menu. I don't know what is the reason for Valve to de-whitelist the game, but it seems so strange.
Runs in Native, as it should be.
I don't know what is everyone's problem when they said they can't run this game natively, maybe they don't have the correct libraries needed and decided to go for the lazy approach A.K.A. Proton.
