Volume of conversations is low. After switching to Proton 9.0-3 this problem was gone

Works flawlessly...unless you're using an AMD GPU with the amdvlk driver
This mostly will affect Arch distros, and if you install Steam via Arch repos. During Steam installation it defaults to the amdvlk driver when asking you to select a driver, as opposed to the vulkan-radeon driver. If you choose amdvlk, the game will be unable to properly display environmental textures making the game unplayable. The vulkan-radeon driver has no such issues and runs flawlessly. Most other distros default to the vulkan-radeon driver for their Steam packages but if you see horribly broken environment textures and everything else is fine, odds are it's amdvlk.
Slight fps stutters occasionally, especially when a new animation that you use for the first time happens.

Installs and plays - good experience
In act 3, occasional NPC dialogues would not play any sound - just subtitles. Also, occasional NPC dialoges would get put of sync with the subtitles, reading the next line while the previous text is on display. Given other comments about act 3 quality in general, I think this is a game issue, rather than a linux/proton issue.
There is a lot of online comment about the quality drop off in the final act of the game, which is likely down to the time the first two acts spent in early access. I would expect the developers to steadily fix this, since the regular flow of patches indicates continued commitment. Right now the game is 100% playable - my thought is that it could actually get better over time. It's already a great game IMO, a good experience on linux/proton.

Works great. Could use some more optimizations. Dungeons and smaller areas run 130+ FPS while out in the open it can drop down to as low as 80 in places. 2560x1440, high settings, FoV 105, STP 80% scale

gamescope -H 1440 -W 2560 -f -r 165 -O -e --mangoapp --adaptive-sync --force-grab-cursor %command%
Alt+Tab works but when tabbing back into the game, the taskbar didn't go away and overalapped in the game. Running the game with Gamescop fixed the issue.
Mouse escapes window to another monitor after a menu is opened. Doesn't launch when using GameScope so unable to use --force-grab-cursor

Runs out of the box
Absolutely flawless install and flawless running. Keep in mind that the game itself is poorly optimised, lots of tearing and visual weirdness in places and you'll get that on Windows too. It's rough around the edges but it runs as good as it does on Windows.

Runs flawlessly
Looks great, runs great, had no issues getting this going. Looking forward to playing the full campaign.
Runs perfectly right out of the box, even with my laptop configuration
Fantastic RPG so far; Runs as expected for my hardware, some minor visual bugs and other issues the dev's are actively working on.

Works Great!
Very Early on there was some ghosting when a particular character moved but after the one scene I havent expierenced it again.

Game work 20 fps in openworld, but in desktop mode FPS stay on 40 FPS.
In game mode - 20 FPS.

Runs better than oblivion. I did not experience any issues and this might be one of those games that runs better on a linux system.
Discord Streaming caused performance issues and a crash. Other than that it runs better than my friends Windows system
Rare stutters but mostly stable performance

Отсутствуют текстуры после создания персонажа There are no textures after character creation
Отсутствуют текстуры после создания персонажа There are no textures after character creation
Runs very smooth with basically no stuttering (unlike Windows, which has bad shader compilation stuttering). Play on Linux if you can.

Runs Flawlessly Out Of The Box
I tried Proton 9.0-4, Proton Experimental, and GE-Proton10-3, they all ran without any issues. It's a Unity game, so that comes as no surprise.

1.0 release runs perfect out of the box
Ultra preset with DLSS @80% ran great on my hardware. 100+ FPS almost without fail. Did not note any graphical issues.

TDP - 10
FPS периодически падает на секунду, возможно связано с кэшированием
Низкие настройки, встроенное масштабирование разрешения на 60. Отличный игровой опыт.

gamemoderun mangohud %command%
v1.0 (релиз) отлично работает из коробки, ge-proton 9-27

Game stuttering but appears to be an issue with the game and not proton, based off of steam forums
Game runs fine oob

Attempted using various proton versions and launch arguments as recommended to no avail on game version 0.9e
Texture explosions, missing terrain, missing game objects
Unplayable on 0.9e

Game works fine Out of the Box.
I use Proton Experimental as my default Proton Selection for all games. Game runs perfectly fine immediately after installation with Proton Experimental. No tinkering required.

Runs OTB, plays well, looks amazing I just had some stuttering and quality reduced with DLSS
Only when frame rate dropped, quality dropped with DLSS to improve frame rate
Graphics qualty dropped to maintain frame rate. Also had slow frame rated at times.
Plays well, Looks good, no crashing, just some frame drop and DLSS quality degredation to maintain frame drop. I believe its not a proton issue, just the games optimisation.

LD_PRELOAD="/usr/lib/libgamemodeauto.so.0" VK_LOADER_LAYERS_ENABLE=VK_LAYER_MANGOHUD_overlay_x86_64 gamemoderun %command%
Performance needs optimization but this isn't a proton issue game is early access
The game doesn't have any issues outside optimization.

Works out of the box
Runs my fans pretty good, but plays and looks great.

It is playable on Deck, but needs the lowest settings and FSR, which drops the visuals quality to borderline unbearable.
The game is unoptimized in general, not a strictly Steam Deck issue.
Performance has improved substantially over time, and the next patch (early 2024) promises more.

proton experimental
saving game is buggy. it saved many time and could not quite the saving menu. Had to reload the game.
got high expectation for this game, but in this current state, unplayable.
Runs OOTB

lower game resolution and use fsr
stuttering after main island
besides some stutering game is playable
The initial dungeon runs great & gives me high hopes for the future of the title but as it stands its just completely borked.
MANGOHUD=1 %command%
After starting dungeon the fps just dies.
The game did freeze & crash during the opening dungeon.
I did go through the floor after respawning to a save.
The performanced on a fairly decent sytem is just unacceptable & makes me sad cause i was so excited to play it. Im talking 10-15 fps after starting dungeon.

Video Quality to Low Target FPS 30
Default Medium Settings caused Steam Deck to crash, Low is fine even when leaving tutorial dungeon and going to outer world.
Runs out of the box
FPS tanks hard as soon as you leave the starting dungeon, even on high end machines. This is due to optimization, not Linux. Works perfectly on Linux, but I definitelly recommend waiting for optimization patches before purchasing and playing.
Only played for a little while so things may chage def since its in Early Access but works now
Turned down FPS
Great game that so far runs great.
Due to the FPS drops when an enemy attacks, it feels very unplayable at this time on the deck.
Much of the text in regards to what items you have picked up is very small on the right side of the screen
Initially used the default SteamOS. I was able to play the "tutorial" mission with no problems, 40+ FPS the whole time. When loading up to the next phase of the game, the game attempted to load the "overworld". I was stuck on a loading screen with 0 FPS and had to restart the deck.
FPS tanks in the overworld
Very low FPS
Slightly playble with GE-Proton7-50, however the consistent drop in FPS makes the game less than ideal on the deck. You'll spend more time waiting for it to load than actually being able to explore.
