I use Proton Experimental as the default selection for all games. This game ran fine immediately after installation. No tinkering required.
Worked immediately upon install, no issues. I run all games using Proton Experimental as the default selection within Steam.
--skip -launcher
I use Proton Experimental as the default choice in Steam for all my games and I pre-load my shaders. Game worked immediately after install without any issues. Game is set to use DX11. Launch Options are only for skipping the third party Larian launcher when opening through Steam.
--launcher-skip
I use Proton Experimental as the default selection for my entire Steam Library. Launch options are only to bypass the 3rd party launcher. Game worked immediately after install without issues and required no troubleshooting.
Once the config.cfg file is altered to stop pausing and the launch options listed are used, the game runs mostly fine.
PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 %command% -novid -w 2560 -h 1440
Game was pausing itself on every single key press. Within the config.cfg file pause was bound to "PAUSE". I fixed this by changing it to read as: bind "p" "pause"
Slight occasional crackling.
Without launch options the game will give you a black screen and cause a total system lockup. The game also defaults to AZERTY keyboard setup for some reason and you will have to alter the keybindings in game (or in the config.cfg file). The game also automatically binds pause to "PAUSE" instead of a keyboard key, causing every key to pause the game. This must be fixed in the config.cfg file. Once all this is done, the game works mostly fine with some minor occasional audio crackle and graphical issues like banners flickering at certain angles.
I use Proton Experimental as the default choice for my entire library. Game works fine immediately after installation. No issues.
I use Proton Experimental by default for my entire library. Game launched and ran without issues right out of the box.
The backgrounds for the Main Menu and the Loading Menus are black. You can still access the UI to swap between Menu screens or change settings or see your stats. Does not interfere with ability to do anything, just that the Main Menu and Loading Screens have no background image. UI is still accessible.
Occasional slowness at the start of the very first match you play.
I use Proton Experiemental by default for all games in my Steam Library. Only issue is that the Main Menu and Loading Screens have no background. Does not affect ability to see stat menus, game menus or settings. Game itself runs fine.
I use Proton Experiemental as the default selection for all games in my Steam Library. Game worked fine immediately after installation and required no tinkering.
No option to chose resolution after choosing Exclusive Fullscreen. Resolution change in-game changes the desktop resolution even after exiting game.
Randomly and frequently bounces back and forth between 60FPS and 30FPS.
Game runs. Resolution and FPS issues aren't game breaking, just obnoxious.
On very rare occasions the game will lock up upon attempting to load the save. Does not lock up the entire PC, only the game.
On some rare occasions, opening the game after booting the PC will cause all menus to be completely white and unreadable/unuseable . Closing the game and opening it again will fix this. I do not know why this happens.
I use Proton Experimental as the default choice for all my games. Issues are rare and obvious before loading a save game. Sometimes after booting the PC up and launching the game for the first time there will be a long loading time and when the game finally loads into the main menu, everything will be white. If you try to load a save the game will lock up. Closing the game and re-opening it will solve this issue. I do not know why; it is possibly related to shader-caching.
Occasional slowdown that passes after 2 or 3 seconds. Happens rarely. Uknown cause. Possibly related to off screen chaos somewhere on the map.
I use Proton Experimental as the default selection for my entire Steam Library. Game works immediately after installation. There is, on very rare occasions, some random slowdown for 2 or 3 seconds, may not be hardware related, possibly due to offscreen chaos somewhere on the map.
Fullscreen will only render in 640x480, must be played in Windowed Mode, which is also kind of iffy. Needs opening then closing again to get resolution to load properly. Also will only run in native resolution of monitor. Meaning if the monitor is 4k you can't change the resolution below that.
Occasional slowdown.
You cannot load the game in fullscreen or it will only render in 640x480. Setting the game to Window Borderless forces native resolution. When the game goes fullscreen and renders in 480p, the entire display will be set to this resolution even after exiting the game. Forcing either a complete system restart to fix it or, if you know how, the use of the terminal to reset your display resolution.
If you're okay playing in Borderless Window at your native resoltuion, it's fine, but getting to that point took some fighting.
Game installs but doesn't run. Will often immediately crash after launch. Otherwise locks up PC on loading screen; requiring a hard reboot.
[Imporant to note: I use Proton Experimental as the default for my entire library] Game installs but doesn't run. Sometimes won't launch at all; Steam will say it's opening the game then just immediately close it. When it does launch it will lock up the entire PC on the first Unity loading image; requires a forced hard reboot to regain use of the PC.
I have found no workaround.
I use Proton Experimental as the default for all my games. Solasta ran perfectly, without issue, immediately after installation. No tinkering required.
The audio specifically for the tutorial narrator is a bit borked. Crackles a lot. Otherwise audio is fine.
Rare slight slowdown. Nothing crazy.
I use Proton Experimental as the default choice for my entire library. Game runs fine immediately after installation. Only issue so far is the audio for the tutorial narrator crackles. Other audio seems fine. On occassion there's a slowdown/stutter, nothing crazy. Game seems to generally work fine.
I use Proton Experimental as the default choice for my entire library. Game worked 100% immediately after install. No issues.
I use Proton Experimental as the default selection for my entire library. TableTop Simulator runs without issue, immediately after installation. No tinkering required.
