Ran native but wouldnt launch, kept telling me it couldnt find the execuitable. Simply added Proton compatibility and it ran first time withut any issues.

very minor flicker on some textures, again hardly noticed

Ran through Heroric Games launcher, installed, run using latest GE Proton, ran like a dream (who needs windows :) )
Plays beautifully OTB, no tinkering, no changes, just launch and play
Random infrequent lofi sound, but I get this on all games, proberbly my setup.
What an amazing game, actually runs better on Mint than windows 11 on the same pc! no modifications, tweeks, tinkers needed, just enable proton compatability and away you go.
The only way I could get it to run was to install it using Heroric Games, then add it to my Steam library and launch it with Proton. Game runs perfectly with no issues.
I did try Heroric and GE-Proton but I only got to the menu and it crashes.
No launch options used.
I only have the Epic games version so had to install with Heroric, Launch through Steam. Not tried Lutris yet.

froze twice on me, but a quick re launch from steam and back to where I left off.
Great game, plays great, looks great, no issues apart from 2 minor crashes during the 8+ hours of gaming. Recomend playing this one.

Run from terminal before launghing game: sudo sysctl vm.max_map_count=10485776
Add this to the steam Launch options:
DXVK_ASYNC=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr %command%
Problem fixed using the options Ive listed, no more crashing!! (Thanks to other users for the info)
Runs out of the box with latest proton, BUT crashes every time you change areas, or teleport. Thanks to other users on ProtonDB, Im using the following:
Run from terminal before running the game: sudo sysctl vm.max_map_count=10485776
Add these launch options to the game: DXVK_ASYNC=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr %command%
Now runs perfectly, so far, 2+ hours in, no crashing. Without these tinkers, it ran for about 5-10 minutes between crashing. Im running everything at max graphics on my 3070ti and ir looks and runs beautifully.
Plays like a dream out of the box
Gemini mission started but only saw black screen. so far no way to get around it as far as I know.
Played perfectly all the way through until Gemini mission, then just black screen, so far cant get past this black screen. :(
Played fine until the proving, then crashes every few minutes
Good game, very enjoyable, just wish it wouldnt freeze every few minutes.
Runs perfectly first time, no issues at all.
Sometimes have to launch it twice if EA update their launcher, but other than that, no problems.
Plays like a dream, looks amazing, recomend headphones
minor distortion in the background at random points. only a split second and it was gone.
No issues that would stop you playing or enjoying the game to its fullest.
Graphics card error on startup
tried all of the Proton versions in steam, tried lutris and cant get it to run, keep getting an error saying I need at least an 8 bit graphics card. Shame, wanted to play this.
use this first:
echo "%command%" | sed 's/GRB_vulkan.exe/UbisoftConnectInstaller.exe/' | sh
Then remove the bove and use this:
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%

random sound degredation for a split second, hhardly notice. I also get this on other games so may not actually be this game.
Crashes on first launch without uplay and the nvidia launch mods listed by other users. Once uplay installed, launched with nvidia script and runs perfectly.
