I always use proton experimental, didn't try other versions.

Some information text can be a little small, but nothing important.
Pretty good, but unfortunately more combat focussed than the original. It runs well if you turn the settings down a little, the default is too high imo.
Worksperfectly fine
Game works perfectly out of the box.
Ran excelent out of the box.

Works perfectly out of the box
Did not try multiplayer.

No noticable issues. Performance was fine. Undetectible from playing in Windows.
Played the first mission in co-op. It was one of the best co-op experiences from any game.
If all games were like this, then there would be no need for Windows for Games.

Multiplayer worked PERFECTLY. Literally invited a friend and they immediately popped up next to me. That easy.
I ran this with GE-Proton-7-50 just to see if I could squeeze more performance out of it, I get about 90FPS on a 2070 Super playing at high. I am unsure it made a difference, or if this is even different than Windows. Runs great!
I lowered the resolution a bit, put it in windowed mode, and turned on FSR. Went from a little over 2 hours to 3.5 hours playtime.
Was able to play a few levels with someone, although admittedly it's not a "bustling" online community in my experience. But worked flawlessly from a technical standpoint.
This game runs just as well on my desktop (has windows, 3080 and 5900x) as it does on the Steam Deck. Few personal changes just to squeeze a bit more time out of it, but still lasts 2 hours just with default settings.

6.5-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
GloriousEggroll 6.5-GE-2
I was getting about 40 to 50 FPS where my friends were getting 70 to 90.

It plays gameplay wise as on Windows, and you don't miss too much with the missing Cutscenes

Proton makes the game run near perfect; with other bugs getting in the way. No real issues with proton other then missing textures.
Pre-renderd cinematics have an tv-like no signal/colour bars error. Other then that the occasional missing texture (see trough)
Tried the xbox one elite 2/ elite, and 360 controllers respectively.
Some bugs but only graphical issues i believe can be attributed to proton. Overall proton makes the game run near-perfect.
In all of the (Pre renderd) cinematic it returns a visual missing texture. Like those old channel stations on the tv. In engine cinematic work perfectly fine. Other then that i have not noticed any degradation.
Game is playable and fun but suffers from some very annoying bugs; including but not limited to. Falling out of the map, repeating an action until you reset the level. And not showing button prompts to do certain actions.
Xbox One controller not detected
Cutscenes and videos do not work but the audio for them still plays
6.16-GE-1
Use Proton 6.16-GE-1 to make videos work. Other than that it also runs fine with 6.3 and Proton Experimental (6.3-20210917)

Games runs out of the box. Some of the media files are not being played (intro video and tutorial videos) Cutscenes are fine

DS3 controller. Most inputs mapped incorrectly
runs out of the box
6.16-GE-1
Runs with Proton 6.3 and Experimental but is missing cut scenes. I recommend using Proton 6.16-GE-1 which works flawlessly as well plus working cut scenes.
