Works out of the box.

Just plain worked.
Queue another it can run Crysis joke here

Littlebit of crackling at somepoint but nothing serious
explosion effect are missing at longer distances same for bullet hit effects.
alt tabbing causes game to take windowed mode, workaround in kde plasma 6 ALT+F3----->More actions--->fullscreen
when using gamescope mouse just spins if not using --force-grab-cursor
Using gamescope results in heavy stuttering after 20 minutes of gameplay. adding -e parametre doesnt make difference. Works fine without gamescope

Runs well
Alt-tabbing will switch to windowed mode.
Only experienced one crash during my time playing.

Does not even open ..

Tried different proton versions .. experimental, 8.0 , 7.0 , proton GE, 6.3 , 4.11 ... even tried withouth the launch commands , and nothing .. it just does not do anything ...

WOW runs incredible
Not much else to say. Ran on big picture mode 3400x1440p ultrawide resolution no problem. Dualsense controller working fine. Using Wayland
Ran flawlessly out of the box.
Seems to only run on your primary monitor if you have a multimonitor setup.
Runs like garbage
Game drops to 10~20fps when using suit powers, jumping, landing, being hit, or firing a weapon. Previously worked fine. Not sure what updated to break it.
Seriously runs like hot garbage. Seems to be related to xorg? Switching focus actually improves framerates up to 30, so possibly input or broken compositor hooks.
Fun game. Runs very well
Runs full speed on Ultra. No glitching. No issues. Runs like native for me
Works great out the box
Campaign only, multiplayer servers were taken offline years ago

In an earlier attempt playing this game I had very bad lags. Dunno if this was resolved by any update or by enabling NVAPI
- Installed Origin as a Non-Steam game, and forced compatibility with GE-Proton7-35.
- Lauched Origin through Steam.
- Installed Crysis 2 from my Origin Library.
- Ran Crysis 2 at 1920x1080 (FSR Performance mode for my 4k monitor); High settings; full screen; AA off; v-sync enabled; all overlays enabled.
- Linux runs Crysis 2 😎
Q: Does GE-Proton's implementation of AMD FSR work with games installed through Origin using this method? A: Yes 😀
The game runs smooth, just download a community made control layout and you are good to go. Definetly worth checking out, game is beautiful on the small screen.
Runs perfectly OOTB.
The game runs with zero issues OOTB.
Runs really bad
Game has significant lags as soon as you jump, shoot, sprint or get hit. Unplayable
Ceph rarely have graphical bugs when you assasinate them, but otherwise the game runs amazing on highest settings 60 fps
Used it to install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package".
Noticed "missing textures" on the ground in some places.
Poor launch and gameplay performance with Proton versions newer than 4.11. Launch performance improved with "PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%" launch options, but gameplay performance remained poor compared to using Proton 4.11.
The game wouldn't launch for me "OOB" because the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package wasn't installed correctly. Maybe removing and then reinstalling the game would have worked but I didn't try (it would have required downloading the game files again I am guessing). Instead I installed "protontricks" to install the "vcredist_x86_en.exe" present in the "Redistributable" directory among the game files. Also ran "DXSETUP.exe" from the "DirectX" directory, just in case it was also not installed correctly. Of course, in Windows I could have just double clicked those files. But in linux I had to run "protontricks 10880 shell", then had to "cd" to the "Redistributable" directory and then use the command "wine vcredist_x86_en.exe". By the way, I initially tried installing the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package directly using "protontricks 10880 vcrun2008" but was getting a sha256 mismatch error on the downloaded file (tried twice).
Worked flawlessly oob !

Doesn't launch (no window, no error message, nothing)
Proton 6.3.8, Steam installed via apt
Works perfectly fine out of the box
The game works perfectly!
The game works perfectly!
(full-screen is lost when you press Alt+Tab. You can go back to full screen mode by pressing Alt+Enter)
Game works perfectly!... as long as you don't care about the audio
Alt-Tab cancels out of fullscreen. (Can be returned to within the "Options" menu with no fuss.)
"MyCrysis.com" menu at the launch of the game does not appear to work (Probably due to that instance of Wine not having networking access). Can be skipped with no further errors. May affect multiplayer.
Plays perfectly OOTB, you couldn't ask for much more than that.
No changes were made, just install and play via Proton.
Completely perfect experience.
Works fine out of the box. Just have to select the option to continue when unsupported graphics box pops up

While it launches, it seems to be touch-and-go for now.
In-game effects and micro-loads appear to not be cached and drop the framerate to 15-20 FPS along with some lag or stutter once you add movement into the equation.
Plenty of people say that this game just doesn't work. Plenty of people say that this game does work just fine, right out of the box even. I say that it crashed immediately after the unsupported GPU notice until I set my Proton version to 6.3-5, at which point the game runs fine until it encounters any form of load point or effect. Once it does, the framerate tanks to 15-20 FPS and even introduces lag or stutter when combined with movement until the effect or load finishes. Sadly, this is bad enough and constant to the point of making me recommend not playing it unless you're willing to experiment.
Crashes on launch with "Failed to create Direct3D device."
just install and click play. it works fine.
Starts and run without a problem
Runs great with settings maxed out, no tweaks required.
Run well, 60FPS+ all turned up.
Occasional tearing, regardless of VSync setting.
tearing and such, but mostly smooth.
If your GPU has only 4GB of vram, refrain to enable high resolution textures, otherwise you will experience poor performance.
Some performance degradation and stability issues but otherwise very playable.
Usually I get roughly 200+ FPS but occasionally see dips below 100 FPS and some stuttering.
Had the game crash on me twice in 30 minutes.
Runs out of the box, exactly the same experience as Windows. Even the fullscreen bug when switching windows.
I runs like I remember it on Windows at 1080p@60fps
Sometimes (I noticed it like 3 times) the framerate goes down to 20 fps or so but otherwise no problems
The option to use High-Res-Textures is disabled which especially at this game would be very nice to have but it looks OK even as is.
