When I tried to change from Proton 4.11-13 to 5.13-6 the game started FREEZING up at INNERSLOTH logo screen. After I changed back to 4.11-13 it was still unstable. So I had to add the launch options PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 mangohud %command% to get it to work again. Not sure why it worked flawlessly until I tried to upgrade the Proton version.
EGS version not working.

Game requires Java runtime. Doesn't start on Linux in Steam (Flatpak container).
I'm not sure the hassle is worth the game. It's a shame that the developers didn't fix issues before abandoning the program.
Not sure, because Steam is not loading it, it may not be cloud saving.
I had to start the game from command line after installing Java to the wine pfx. It wouldn't launch through the Steam client.
Java has to be older version. You have to install it in the wine prefix and even then I'm not sure if I've done everything correctly, as I can't load it without a command line.
I couldn't run the program natively, I had to install a Wine prefix, then install the older version of java, then I could only launch from the command line. I wouldn't recommend this game unless you are interested in underwater type games.
I had to switch to the community build of proton 6.3 to get the game to work correctly.

Anyone wanting to learn Spanish might enjoy this game.
Minor crackling when in game play.
Fullscreen is experimental on this program, it had some issues.
Edge of screen was not detected and mouse would click on other monitor rather than stay in the game (Fullscreen mode).
Works great on my Fedora system, and SteamDeck. Too bad I am no good at this game. I think I've made it 8 seconds before crashing.
Intro movie was black. Switched to Proton 7.0rc3-GE-1 to fix the problem.
