this game runs flawlessy on proton experimental (even with a steam controller), except for the fact it's windowed and i couldn't make to get it fullscreen even with the -fullscreen launch option, ionly got to maximize the window
just keep in mind it seems to be just the playstation version and not the pc one...
If you select more than 6 mods, the mods selector app freezes and you need to force close it, so 6 mods maximum
Game works flawlessy, with good fps and doesn't crash at all
The only gripe i have is the fact that you can't select more than 6 mods as the mods selector will freeze, but the game per se is perfectly working, even with mods

as for the original doom 3, this works out of the box like a charm, haven't tried multiplayer anyway

You need to patch the game for games for windows live issues
Games for windows live should be disabled first
Game is perfect but it's an old game that requires Games for Windows Live or it won't start
You should first patch it not to require that app, then it's working flawlessy...

Close all steam and proton processes. Delete the proton profile ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/205350 Delete ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection/support/Gfwlivesetup.exe Put the alternate xlive.dll (xliveless) in ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection/BINARIES/WIN32
Done two races without a single issue
Tested the game with proton experimental not to have the usual protons wasting space, but game works flawlessy, videos do work and online multiplayer is perfect
it's really plug'n'play as it should be
game runs perfectly out of the box with proton 4.13, does not start with newer proton but with 4.13 it's working flawlessy out of the box
Online mode has no problems at all
This game works lflawlessy from proton 7 and higher, not supported on older released, but it works great and recognised my steam contoller first try, iwa even able to change my controls easily
didn't try a wheel anyway as i don't have one...
