Need to install HidFanatecFF repo to get CSL DD Wheel base and pedals to work
So after some more testing (10 weeks almost) i got my Fanatec Wheelbase, Wheel and pedals to work. Only need to bind some controls after startup (acc, brake, gear switching and so on). It runs better on Linux then Windows!
Logitech G29 FFB does not work out of the box, install new-lg4ff driver and it works.

Fanatec CSL DD QR2 Ready2Race Bundle (8 Nm) is not natively supported on Linux. Oversteer doesn't work properly, and i haven't found a solution yet.
Tinker steps only shows mangohud and sets target fps to 145. Just remember to start the game in DXVK, so it starts the game with Vulkan. Otherwise i couldn't get it to work.
I needed to switch to Steam Input mode to get the controller to work.
I selected "DXVK" as graphics mode from the menu at game launch.

Does not start at all
Crashes during startup (while in splash screen) with error code 0xE06D7363.
T248 constantly pulls to the right
Just assigned back buttons for escape and pause. Also need to assign gamepad buttons per your choice, since game doesn't take it by default layout.
My favorite simracing game on SteamDeck. Having a blast with Nordschleife!
No issues at all on Linux Mint 22. Runs perfect, from install, with no tinkering.
It first makes me install the raceroom launcher. It does that and then the loading screen comes and then game crashed.
It works for other people. But i want expecting much from a silver game anyway but the low specs looked temping so i tried. If it works have a great experience
Online mode has no problems at all
This game works lflawlessy from proton 7 and higher, not supported on older released, but it works great and recognised my steam contoller first try, iwa even able to change my controls easily

no feedback/haptics
With the default proton version it used to crash after a wee while playing. Not seen it again while using experimental. But what I´m really missing is the feedback/haptics in the controllers as I tried it in windows steam with an xbox controller and they are quite good.
Unlike Douglas 8 months ago, I was able to have my Logitech G29 working with FFB (Force Feefback). I had to install Oversteer and the new-lg4ff driver. You need to reboot and unplug-replug the wheel after installing Oversteer and new-lg4ff. Now everything's working perfectly fine. The game itself runs without any modification. Just installed it and it was ready to go.
Played some ranked races online. No problems.

Tabbing out gives a Black Screen, but ALT + F4 closes it
Biggest problem is Tabbing out is not working, Minor Problem, Grapical "Shadow is glittching"
Its your favorite game and using Fanatec Hardware? For FFB go https://github.com/gotzl/hid-fanatecff. When in the don't Tab out! The Graphical glitches are acceptable, but should also be fixed after the Tabbing issue.
To be able to run the game i had to use the GE version of proton. when i tried to run it with the classic version of proton it would just show a black rectangle then crash as soon as the name of the game appear. with GE it just work
The game runs Perfectly fine, I don't know why it has a Silver rating definetly runs without Any Problems! 👍

It showed minor black squares but that glitched just once.
The only downside is that it takes longer to launch but maybe that's just for me because it happens with other games too. And it is better to play with my launch options.
Buttons need binding to actions such as accelerate and brake.
Some options very small
Takes a little while to initially load - "auto" graphics level with most texture quality and detail levels on high. Looks great and runs smooth.

FFB not working on Logitech G29
Everything seems to work except FFB on my wheel (Logitech G29). I already have new-lg4ff driver and Oversteer working fine in other games, but in RaceRoom it doesn't work.
Tried several Proton versions, including 6.19-GE2, Experimental and 7.0rc3_GE_1, but no FFB at all.
Without force feedback it's a no go for me.

Only tried with keyboard and solo, but didn't experience any significant issues.
Have yet to try online or at least against AI and also with wheel, but in solo there was no problems with keyboard at least.

Both PS5 gamepad and G920 had to be remapped. For force feedback to work on the wheel steam input had to be disabled.

Both gamepad or G920 needed controller remapped Force feedback on a Logitech G920 not working as well as expected. Will tinker some and see if I can get it working better
G29 worked fine after re mapping steering and force feedback aren't as sharp and heavy as I would like some tuning would fix I imagine

Light and shadows were off some playing with the graphics fixed this
