Sometimes the audio cuts, and immediately plays the same one again once you create the survior.
Once my settings were just right, so as to not sacrifice my GPU, the crafting menu (specifically for checking how much you have vs need) doesn't show up properly.
Loading screens are a little slow on this version

You will have to go to 720p windowed in order to start the game again if you do another session.
The stutters get bad if you don't pre-cache the shaders
When you get into a decent resolution without sacrificing your GPU, with certain graphical settings, you won't be able to see the recipies in your crafting menu, even if you learn the engrams. You won't know how much of a certain item you need.

Without the DXVK state cache, the stuttering gets pretty stupid.
Due to internet speeds where I'm at, the connection problems aren't too bad.

Quick note: Make sure that when you play, you use the bleeding edge Proton if you use Manjaro, like I clearly do.

Nothing major, but just some slight performance optimizations that are required on my end.
How about 2 reports for the price of 1? The reason being is that I'm using Garuda, since my Manjaro broke thanks to a system update stripping the Nvidia drivers.
game-performance
Plutonium requires the use of Dotnet 4.8, D3D Compiler 4.7, and Microsoft Core Fonts. Under Runner Options, all Graphics options are on and at the latest version, Esync and Fsync are optional. System Options require Lutris Runtime disable, and System Libraries preferred, desktop effects and screen saver disabled, and a whole list of Environment Variables in Game execution, which are listed in my guide for NVIDIA here: https://forum.plutonium.pw/topic/39182/installing-plutonium-on-linux-with-nvidia-gpu-full-guide
I did notice a flicker for a texture every once in a while, but those fix themselves
Sometimes, there can be issues with LanLauncher (and Plutonium too) acting slow, but that's a shader thing most likely.
Again, some performance stuff, likely due to how Plutonium works.
If you use a VPN, there are some servers you're unable to join due to VPNs not being allowed. The reason given is that some hackers are using VPNs to bypass IP bans.
Even though I could use Steam and try to have Plutonium be found that way, I instead use Lutris, since it's easier for me to set up than with Steam, personally speaking.

The game is almost flawless on Linux (though, I'm using Mint). I hadn't had any issues with it as far as I'm aware.

Simply put, this is the alternative to Apex Legends for those that played it on Linux, but now can't thanks to EA's poor excuse of a Proton shutdown.
Sometimes, due to Wi-Fi, the rollback doesn't work for a few seconds. Otherwise, it's fine for me.
Overall, this is a solid fighting game to play on Linux. I hadn't had any issues with how things work in this game, though I'm not good at it whatsoever. I will say this, though, that if you use GE Proton, you're going to have a bad time online, for you'll get an error code that be hopefully fixed, so just use Experimental for now (I use the bleeding edge version).

Initially, but once the game recognized it, it was fine.
One of the weapons can cause the game to become laggy, but once you get the DPU used to it, it shouldn't be too bad.
Note that you'll have to host lobbies for your friends, as they only have that capability for now (although they should make a native version for Linux, and make it cross compatible).
6.1-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
All the different weapons continue to amaze me, despite 30 million of them (which I might never reach). As for the technical side of things, which happens to be an FPS which is 100% supported on Linux, no problems there.
gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Slight flicker from what I had seen, but otherwise, fantastic graphics wise.
This is a well made Unreal Engine shooter for Windows, though us Linux players can do this too!

Slowdowns occurr when I set the resolution scale to above 65, but the frame drops aren't all that bad regardless.
Keep in mind that if you're on a potato, the next update for the game will NOT support older computers.

As long as you use Proton x.x-GE-x, you should be fine in running the 3DMark missions. If that doesn't work, then use an mf-install to do this, or ignore the missions entirely.

With my setup, the GPU is getting sacrificed at 1440p at decent looking settings.
Also recommended is the FPS Boost mod.
Deliberate Anti-Linux effort
This is an effort to ensure Linux players do not play this game whatsoever. Do not download this game, unless you want to be met with "Server Not Found". Pathea wants only Windows "used" to play this game, because Windows is used for most E-Sports. I will not use Windows for any gaming, because of it's intrusion.

This game works with the right dependecies on Manjaro. In all honesty, I'm still searching for a way to use the items from a guide I used to optimize this game.

In your Config file, you want to use this script (https://www.unknowncheats.me/forum/other-games/296362-anti-crash-update.html) to prevent particle crashing should you decide to keep particles on. Also, it is highly recommended to turn off RichPrecense, and to put your cache in your VRChat folder for your Steam games.
At 1440p, when Alt-Tabbing, if fullscreen, you see black bars on the top and bottom of the screen.
Just the standard VRChat things (It is Unity 2019.4.31f after all).
I sometimes lag, but that's just my slow internet.
If you use the GE build, the voice chat audio will be absolutely borked; keep this in mind.

Random freezes because of certain avatars due to my graphics driver (stupid Secure Boot is the problem)
Those freezes I count as a crash, therefore, signifigant crashes after EAC nonsense (Thanks, Ron).
Again, freezes due to shaders and Secure Boot I think.
Overall, after the corrupt implementation of EAC, listening to the VRC CCO (who needs to be fired it seems), the game has become an absolute nightmare to figure out how to get it working with the 470 drivers. A recent reporter (not me) tried Experimental with 470 drivers, but didn't understand that he needed 510 drivers or above in order to use Experimental or GE-Proton7-28 or higher. I can't really do squat on here due to the amount of resources EAC takes (plus, massive privacy concerns).

If a controller is connected, it will accept only inputs from that, but keyboard is fine. Mouse doesn't work unless the controller is disconnected
Usual VRChat nonsense
Mostly just bad server management from VRChat, particularly unoptimized for those with slow internet speeds and bandwidth. Also, you need to use the RTSP in order to get videos to work, though I couldn't get that done.

You may see a few times where the load screen takes too long. Just close the game using Steam Runtime, and open it back up.

This is for the best experiece. If you use Manjaro, there is an AUR for the GE Custom Proton. Just use the Stable. I no longer play this game, but I thought that I'd share my report.
