At first after some tweaking (DirectX, Proton as mentioned here) i was able to play. Game ran flawless. But ...
after 20h the game froze and after that i wasn't able to start it again. Steam shows the game as running but nothing else happens. I suspect problem is somehow related to uplay.
Game crashes on startup.
Windows warning message says: "Could not find a part of the path :C:\users\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Elite Dangerous Launcher_evidencehere"
Apart from random crashes, the game runs smoothly.
IMHO it was Steam crashing first causing No Man's Sky to freeze. I ran Steam via terminal. Here may be some maybe helpful output: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IU73_Nj1p1i6MN19qIgim9y_IyRqXTRzvBQeMdou3-c/edit?usp=sharing
Game worked perfect for about 30h of gaming. Then stopped working at all.
I was able to play for about 30 hours. Then suddenly the game stopped working. The rockstar launcher starts but the game gets stuck in a black loading screen with a progress bar at the bottom that doesn't move anymore at about 80%.
For me the game was playable but not very pleasant due tu lags
Wrong .NET - version
In the past i was able to play Space Engineers some years ago. I wanted to play again but now at start i get an error message about wrong .NET - version
I was able to start the demo but framerate was like 10fps. Not playable, way too sluggish.
Uninstalled.
Besides of ingame music everything works perfect. Startup is even faster on Linux than on Win7.
