Works out of the box. Played both single player and Multiplayer. No issues found.
If you are looking to play some skirmish games this game works perfect. homecity/campaign broken
Progress was always reset when closing the game, so campaign was reset as well as home city progress did not work.
With this launch option LC_ALL=C %command% the game works nativaly perfect. It also works with proton enabled but that had some video issues
LC_ALL=C %command%
Game runs perfect nativaly with small thinker LC_ALL=C %command% as launch option. Without it the game would not start. I also tried running on proton without any thinkering and the game starts as well with only 1 visible issue (video not loading). No crashes whatsoever runs really good with no noticable performance problems. Its a fun game and works great on linux either native or with proton (test proton 7.0-3)
Works out of the box without issues. Only tested DX11 as everyone seems to recommend that over vulkan
Works out of the Box !! Runs excellent no issues.
Game installs, and works perfectlty. Have not found any issues at all. Mods can also be installed easily. Note a previous version of the game/proton did not work. (for me) But game version 1.4.x and 1.5.x work perfect for me with proton 7.0.1.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command%
When running on a slower resulotion than your monitor all blacks look like gray. Changing monitor resultion to game resultion fixes the issue.
Great runs great after changing the launch options to PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command% and using GE proton 8-13. Did not start without changing these.
Besides a weird issue if monitor resultion does not match game resultion the game runs perfect. No issues whatsoever with performance, crashes etc.
The game is really fun.
Works fine out of the box Proton Experimental 2024
Game runs perfect on max settings (except the texture VRAM) and it runs like a charm, No slowdown/crashes or anything of that kind. The game is also fun and i am enjoying SP campaign and skirmish. Its a great entry into the series and totally recommend it right now.
I used to own this in 2023 and refunded it since it crashed a lot back then. Now not a single slowdown or crash after 8+ hours of gaming.
Works great but some launch commands are needed + latest proton for it to run 100% smoothly.
DXVK_ASYNC=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11 %command% --launcher-skip -skipStartscreen
Had some performance problems especially like opening the map suddenly dropped FPS hugely, takes a while to like run normal again. With latest proton (expiremental) and launch commands that issue was fixed. No performance issues after that.
All settings are on High with FSR2.1 set to quality, the game runs 60fps on 2k resolution without any issues. Games looks amazing. Setting to ultra dips slightly under 60fps so not worth it. Did not compare to windows but i feel the game runs as expected for the hardware i have.
Runs perfectly no issues at all Proton 7.0-2
Game runs really well for my hardware all on high settings(1080p) 60+fps without any performance issue (did not compare it with windows). Its one of those out of the box expierences with no tinkering/no issues at all.
Seems like video did not work in older versions but they were playing fine for me. The game itselfs looks great and is really fun to play.
Runs very poorly on Linux via Proton. Same machine on Windows runs the game well. Would not recommend for linux gamers.
Scroll (zoom in out) was very laggy.
On lowest settings it was feeling slow, Especially when zoomed in on battle map. On high settings it runs good, altough not perfect on my machine in windows. Game looks fully working with performance issues
Runs flawless on linux proton and probably the best WW2 grand strategy game in existence.
Crashes like once every 50 hours or so, its super stable altough crashes happen.
The game runs really well and had very little to no issues running this on Linux. If you like ww2 and strategy on a grand scale this is the game for you to play.
There is only 1 issue and that is if i leave my game that the text resolution is set to 100% instead of the usually 200% i normally have. My desktop is 4K but run the game at 1080p and most paradox games have this issue for me, but its a minor thing.
Games runs perfect out of the box. Some frame rate losses although minor.
Had no issue installing and playing this game. I do note a drop in framerate when i start the game and this occurs for like 5 mins. After that it feels like everything is fully loaded and i run the game on high settings 60fps.
Demo of manor lords works great with proton 7.04.
Missing video for "construction" tutorials. Tried installing codecs with protontricks but did not work. Somebody smarter with this could probably find a solution. This is a very minor issue though
Altough i have not tested with windows i think it runs slower than expected. Altough performance was still great !
The demo runs very well with proton. I could not compare to windows so my guess it runs partially slower but the game still ran very well. There was some issue with video (tutorial) that i could not fix.
All in all the demo of the game runs great on linux with proton, i hope the full release of the game runs as good as this demo! (demo from 3 - 10 OCT 2022)
Runs perfect out of the box. Plays as expected besides video not loading works flawless.
Ran on ubuntu 22.10 proton 7.0-6. The intro video does not load for me, but thats the only issue i have.
Great remake of a good game.
Runs out of the box with Proton version 6.3. No issues besides the fonts being a bit to big.
Fonts are bigger than they should, still playable.
The game feels a bit slow, did not compare with a windows install.
Altough games run on Native there is the bug of saving in campaign. With proton no Issues !!
The game runs great with proton 7.04. I did not have to lower graphics compared to native to still have 60fps. No more annoying segmentation save file bug which occured way to much in native and basically broke your campaign. With proton none of these issues. Also the menu feels way faster with proton compared to native (altough it was a minor issue). Definitly better tu run this game with proton compared to native (due to the corrupt save bug)
Runs Great out of the box. No performance issues (noticable). Only tutorial videos seem broken. Everything else seems to run fine.
Tuturial videos seem to be broken. All other graphics work fine.
Game runs well if music volume is set to 0. Does crash altough not often. I would recommend saving occasionaly. Multiplayer not tested.
Put music volume to 0. Causes freezes in game with music on.
No music, Music causes random freezes for (10s+)
Freeze at start of game and loading of a new map
