Seem to have moments of unexpected freezing for a dozen seconds or so while zoomed in on the map. Computer was always able to recover though and continue playing without lingering issue beyond a repeat of this every so often
So far so good - seems like at present the game runs more or less as expected under Proton (at least when using GE)
Make sure to use proton 7.0-2, both newer and older versions had additional issues. The only real problem is the battle music not playing.
Music fails play durring battle often, all other sound works
Occasional lag durring high time acceleration durring a 50k+ man battle.
Should not be marked as borked, it works on 7.0-2.
Not playable st least yet. The crashes are beyond frustrating. The game still appears to be a work in progress equivalent to Early Access.
Requires proton experimental, otherwise main load screen does not display
Constant crashes on main load screen in fullscreen mode, windowed appears more stable but prevents full HUD properly displaying
Game loads saves on the wrong side
Main menu crashes so fast and often it's difficult to get a campaign started. Once started game is stable, but getting it started is the challenge.
Runs very poorly on Linux via Proton. Same machine on Windows runs the game well. Would not recommend for linux gamers.
Scroll (zoom in out) was very laggy.
On lowest settings it was feeling slow, Especially when zoomed in on battle map. On high settings it runs good, altough not perfect on my machine in windows. Game looks fully working with performance issues
