Game Doesn't Start
I tried with Proton Experimental, Hotfix, and v9 using steam; steam-runtime; and steam-native; and all failed similarly. There isn't much output, but I do see "ERROR: ld.so: object '/home/lmat/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32): ignored." each time.
As a matter of fact, I think this game performed better on Linux than on Windows.

It runs flawlessly. I don't see why normal Proton couldn't handle it; I just have Proton GE as my default.

Played with a controller connected with bluetooth. Went smoothly. Didn't have any issue !
Works perfectly without any tinkering
Runs well, also on multiplayer.
Cannot refocus window

Works perfectly on Wayland, including multiplayer.
Zero issues encountered even after hours of continuous play.
Works out of the box on my machine

All the text is very small, especially when playing on TV
Played nearly 20 hours so far in co-op docked to a TV. Works like a charm but the UI is a bit too small for readability.

(none)
Runs Perfectly with no Issues. Multiplayer works
Occasionaly, Steam will say it is "not responding" after game already launched. As long as you ignore the box, the game plays fine. If you select "wait" or "force quit", the game closes.
Works great out of box
Works great

Works flawlessly with Proton Experimental.
Multiplayer is also working without any problems.
Friends on windows have a problem where the dishwasher indicator lights aren't working. This problem is not occuring on Linux

The only thing I did is forcing PlateUp! to use the Experimental Version of Proton because I made good experiences with it not because it was not working with other versions.
The gaming experience is exactly the same as it is on windows. Funnily enough: Two friends of mine (on windows) have the problem that the light indicator on the dishwasher isn't working. For me the problem isn't reproducible on Arch tho.
The multiplayer gaming also went flawless and withouth any tinkering needed

Works flawlessly. Multiplayer tested - no issues
Worked out of box, with or without controller
Multiplayer disconnects twice in 10 hours of play (Maybe not specific to SD)

Game would freeze on the startup logo
can't get into the menu

Perfect except controllers
It just wouldn't work at all using a PS4 or generic Logitech controller.
If you're fine with no controller support, it's a great experience.
pre-game menu was quite small and all text was difficult to read

runs flawless
Game worked out of the box and I've put many hours into multiplayer, playing with friends.
One random disconnect during the middle of a multiplayer game.
One disconnect during 24h of play
This required updating video drivers and switching to experimental. This should be likely to work for most people.
Fails to start up
Tried experimental and Proton 8.0-1. Both fail to launch the game with the following error details in a popup:
Failed to initialize player
Failed to initialize graphics. Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed
WorkShop modes breakes the game on linux
Unsubscribe mods was fix the game
Might as well be native.
Used a controller to play with no issues.
