Surprisingly i now can get locked 60-ish now on the same all low settings when it used to crash on windows

I cant really put a "maybe" because well the game works out of the box but no story cutscene is just bruh
game uses .wmv as its cutscene and it just doesnt show up

you absolutely have to use nvidia-utils and its lib32 nouveau does not work at all

Idk the SteamDeck=0 argument makes the game flicker, idk if in the last 11 month its fixed or what but i can enable FSR Framgen without doing that argument
overall shit specs shit fps but still works OOTB (i forgot to switch back to reccomended proton)

this is mostly the games fault tho, it has horrid gamepad support
bit laggy at first but smooth out

Ehhh sure i guess you can enjoy it yeah, but make sure to refresh every couple mission so its still playable
After playing for about 2-3 hours game either had a leak or something because FPS tanked to below 10
Its more of a FPS so low it basically freezes
Game shat itself on title screen because of presumeably anticheat
Will force quit with error "Privacy VIolation GameGuard" something like that now it might be the same as HD2 GameGuard but i dont know and id rather not go insane trying to play a free gacha game on linux
Game Properties > Beta > linux-last-gl-build
You have to use the beta linux build, straight boot doesnt open at all, forced proton doesnt load the menu
OOTB works fine
Unfocusing the game will make it windowed with no fix to return back to Fullscreen
Do not use SteamInput, use the game own controller support

Downgrade to proton 8 and then use the .so file provided below and it works flawlessly
It works yeah, youre just wont be getting the video part of the story telling

By adding https://github.com/nipkownix/re4_tweaks to the game its much more stable and does not have the quirks it does by default
If you have the specs this game is p much just like windows
as someone who has shit specs for this game i technically got 5-10 FPS more than windows going from about 15 to about 25
but the verdict is just that hey it mostly works OOTB havent tested gamemoderun yet but it probably will be better with that

My last report i fat fingered the launch option lol
Download the proper driver from: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/physx-9-13-0604-legacy-driver/
And the replace the one inside the steamapps/common/Steamworks Shared/PhysX with it (make a backup of the original file) Run the game until it installs everything
And profit (You should change the PhysX files back to default(this is why you backup it))
You can do what other people did, but thatll make games that require phyx and works normally, dont
While mine installs the PhysX it wants, and make future game installs (that require physx) seamless (because you dont need to rename the folder again and again)

Alt-tabbing makes keyboard not work
ProtonGE makes me not able to load stuff, idk if its a bug with 9-20 or what but proton experiment (my default proton) works
Again just do what i said before this report and youll be golden

This is a game issue afair, because it also happens on windows, but the game will get angry at you if you alt tab and crashes
