Save files are big, uploading/syncing them can take quite some time
Runs great, steam deck would recommend FSR to quality. Tried multiple FSR mods but none worked so praying Larian adds FSR2 despite having gone 2 major patches since they said they would.
Is definitely a blurry and battery draining mess but still a great game if you can live with that.
Steam Recommended (Proton) and Steam Native (Linux Runtime/Steam-Play-None) all seem to run exceptionally well now with no performance issues anywhere.
Steam Deck properly manages power usage and can easily get 4-5 in this game without any tweaks or toggles.
TDP 9, 45Hz for Battery Life
Runs perfect
Reduced TDP to 5 and GPU to 600Mhz just for Battery/Heat
Lowered GPU and CPU clock, no visual impact but greatly increased battery performance and heat.
Game runs great, no issues.
Must rename or remove video in 'Movie' folder or game will stay on black screen.
Network connection seemed to have hiccups
Game runs well even on high, swapping to medium gave a bit more fps and made it a smoother experience on steam deck without much visual impact.
MMORPGs are obviously made for running with some mid-tier internets, connection runs well.
Text will sometimes stutter loading. (Eg. Will type a few words. Stop. Entire sentence will pop up.)
Works with an annoying text stutter but not enough to ruin the enjoyment.
Audio fell out of sync and became fast/degraded. This was after the game was paused and the deck in sleep mode for a few days while in middle of a run
TDP 6 Watt, HSR On, GPU 1000
Game runs flawlessly and steam deck can be under locked hard and kept at a stable 60
Game runs well by default, no issues, lowered settings to default/original and looks quite well while performing great.
I had to select a proton version to be able to install the game, game ran smoothly however default controls aren't the best.
As with most VNs, download the patch and install in desktop mode. Runs flawlessly.
On SteamDeck capped to 45fps to avoid annoying bounces, runs fairly stable at this on low settings and the built-in FSR is nice. Definitely a playable and nice experience, have seen others recommending an FSR2 mod so might be worth trying that to clean up some of the light bluriness.
With the constant stuttering throughout all menus and gameplay, it is not a pleasant experience.
Game would stutter for a good almost half second every few seconds
Will update my report after trying older proton versions, GE Proton did not help.
Used MetaphorFix - https://github.com/Lyall/MetaphorFix
MetaphorFix is a nice plus, letting you tweak down AmbOcc and some other settings, however even just out of the box the game runs quite nice. Very enjoyable experience.
As long as you don't mind some slight issues with the 18+ scenes stuttering.
Game is not well optimised, had some performance hiccups during "CG"s. This happens even on high end windows devices too however.
Game was owned on steam, have since refunded it due to already owning the JP version.
Game runs well with medium-ish drain on the steam decks battery
Game appeared to suffer from connection issues over wifi randomly causing stutters/rubberbanding. Confirmed with wired PC this was not a server iddue
Controller UI for PoE isn't the best and the graphics on steam deck are quite lacking, but otherwise the game ran quite well at a consistent frame rate in T10 Maps
TDP to 6, GPU to 1000
Runs perfectly and the deck can be under locked to save on battery life at no performance loss.
Gamw runs flawlessly without being a big battery drain
Had to change to fullscreen on initial launch/change game resolution in games menu to have readable UI/Text
Game runs perfectly out of the box, no changes needed, can optimise for 45fps and longer battery if you really want.
Game runs really well, turning off reflections keeps a stable 60 but does have an impact on graphics.
Decky is a great add-on, as is Proton-GE.
The Steam Deck really should be Verified for the Steam Deck, it works perfectly on Steam Deck.
Runs flawlessly out of the box, GPU/CPU can be clocked lower to save battery without any visual or performance impact. Is a 30FPS game.
Game has some performance issues but runs well on Linux without any proton-specific issues.
Game has performance issues all-around.
Due to the performance woes, would not recommend for steam deck users. Medium at 800p or 720p+FSR still does not give a stable 30fps. Would save this for another system or wait for performance fixes.
