Worked perfectly with proton 5.0-9
Played or a little over 2 hours with some friends online and had zero issues. I was also able to alt+tab out of the game and there were not game crashes or issues.
Ran perfectly from start to finish
Played for a little over 8 hours and did not experience any issues. Also one of the few games where alt+tab to another application did not cause it to crash.
Runs fine with default proton
Selecting fullscreen would make the game jump to my secondary monitor. Not sure if this was the games fault for a setting of mine. If I turned off fullscreen and tried to drag the window to another screen, it would jump back. Had to quit out and relaunch game to get it back on my main monitor.
I was able to use keyboard and an xbox 360 wired controller without issue.
A few artifacts towards the end of the game but they did not last long and did not impact gameplay
Only issue was alt+tab during game play would cause a black screen. Other than that, game ran great with no tweaks.
Runs perfect out of the box from start to finish
Worked great with my xbox 360 controller using xboxdrv
6.1-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Game would launch and then crash with default proton. Switching to Gloriouseggroll's Proton-6.1-GE-2 version allowed it to launch and get to the main menu. I had to change the default resolution but after that it ran fine. I was also able to use my Fenek wireless controller and had zero issues with controls.
Works great with defaults
Played from start to finish with current official default proton without issues.
Game worked after install. I was able to play online matches for a few hours and did not experience any issues using my xbox 360 controller (xboxdrv installed beforehand).
Ran without issue right from the start.
Played an online game with 3 friends (they all ran windows) and did not have any issues. A few left early but the game had no issues assigning a bot to their role and there were no issues on the linux side.
Proton-6.21-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Using Alt+Tab would allow me to escape the window but I would not be able to get back into the game and would have to force close it.
The game detected my controller as being plugged in and disabled mouse/keyboard. The still happened even after unplugging my keyboard. I disabled the controllers in steam but still ran into the issue. The workaround for me was to disable my controller driver by running the command sudo systemctl stop xboxdrv.service (if you use a different controller driver then you'll have to type that in instead of xboxdrv.service). You can confirm it is stopped by running systemctl status xboxdrv.service. Once I had disabled that, keyboard and mouse were working again and I was able to play.
Audio worked fine with Proton-6.21-GE-2. A few Steam workshop mods were having issues but when I closed Skyrim, launched Skyrim Script Extender in steam first, and then relaunched Skyrim, they were working.
Installed and ran without issues
played for almost 10 hours and experienced zero issues. I was also able to alt+tab out of the game without it crashing.
The game would occasionally crash whenever I alt+tab to another application.
Runs very slow. Technically playable but enjoyable at that speed
The game ran and controls worked but it ran extremely slow.
Tried proton 4.2 to 5.13 and GloriousEggroll's 5.9-GE-8-ST but they had no effect on the game slowdown.
Worked fine out of the box and was able to finish it without issue.
Ran fine from install to finish. No crashes during game play unless I alt+tabbed which caused me to have to restart the game.
Alt+tab would cause the game to freeze and I would have to kill the process and restart the game.
