It runs out of the box no tweaks. The only caveat is if it loads a black screen hit the esc key and wait a few seconds.
The Game runs great. Just install and play.
This game works great with the Steam controller.
On the new Proton You need to enable D3D to get the game going.
The game needs to run on Proton 3.16 in order to make it playable.
If you are using Gnome you have to start the game then hit the super key and select the second workspace then select the heroes icon in order to play. You have to do this twice.
The game has a Uplay overlay in the upper right corner I can't seem to get rid of it but it really doesn't affect gameplay.
I had to use GloriusEggroll 5.4-1 to run the game.
The game runs flawlessly I didn't find any bugs.

Had to use Proton GE or I would get the white screen.
I needed to load it under proton experimental delte the compat data then start it under proton GE.
Enable battleeye in the steam runtime. Also the test version of this game runs out of the box but no one is playing it for now but a good sign for the game coming to Linux.

The game runs great the Vulkan shaders took a long time to cache on first start up but after that it was smooth sailing.

I had to go into audio settings in Warframe and change the audio output device.
This game is native but newer distros are to up to date for it and you have to jump through hoops to get the native version to run and even then it may not run. With Proton it runs great but I do have to hit the esc key when the screen turns black to get it to load all the way.
