Works quite well. Note that the game does not seem to be built for massive resolutions (4K) in mind.
The game runs well, except for the occasional graphical glitches. Low settings helps but the game does not look as beautiful anymore.
At one point, turret audio went missing, and another time the tutorial voice over sounded unnatural. I have not had any audio issues during the last game patche though.
Some stations display flickering geometry. The AIR tutorial station is heavily affected by this. Sometimes the same issue appears on the ships.
When I lower the graphical settings (especially the shaders) things get better, so I guess it mostly happens when the iGPU is under stress.
FPS dips at points where the game seems to be loading parts of the map. Might be my suboptimal SSD mount options though.
OpenGL Failed to Load
The initial menu that displays the various game options (remastered & classic, 1 & 2) renders fine. After selecting any one of the game options, I receive a "OpenGL Failed to Load" error, and a black screen behind it.
Splash screen pops up, and a black frame
The game does not start with the default settings.
Does not load at all
I have played a couple hours in the past, but now it will not load at all.
Blank screen
No sound, no video, just an empty screen. Can quit with no problems.
Does not run.
I've been able to play this in the past (a month ago?), and it worked fine. Today it updated and does not start any more.
Every so often, the cursor would stop following the mouse. When I clicked it would resume.
"your environment is abnormal"
The initial menu is displayed fine, which allows for registration and login. When clicking on Launch, if immediatilly fails with an error message "Your game environment is abnormal. Please restart the machine and launch the game again!" and the game exits.
Controllers were only detected with "with Steam overlay" launch option
In my system, the native Linux build did not launch. I had to force Steam Play with proton experimental.
