Works well. Modern hardware has progressed a lot in the years since the game last updated, and the community mods are still great.
Stonehearth Discord recommended updating ssleay32 and libeay32 with newer versions. Went from no-boot to working okay.

Was loading etrmely slowly until I moved it to my SSD.
Very long load times and occasional crashes
Slow load times and occasional crashes. Install on an SSD for best results.

WINEESYNC=0 PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1
It took me some tries to found the good configuration for this game, but now it runs even better than it did on Windows . Played like 8 hours staight ; no bug, no crash, no slowing down .

game works fine until you get 40+ heathlings, if you get more then 40 hearthlings you need to restart your game when it starts to stutter
Every so often, the cursor would stop following the mouse. When I clicked it would resume.

The game started up perfeclty fine, didn't notice any abnormal loading times, and in-game was completely playable. That doesn't mean there won't be any performance issues after a certain level of development has been reached in a world though.
Does not work, Tried all versions of proton including GE 1/2
Works out of the box!

Wasn't able to start the game.
Tested multiple versions of proton and using dedicated and integrated graphics. Couldn't get the game to start at all.
Just as playable with SteamPlay as with Win10, that being said expect long load times/black screens if your hardware isn't new.
Slower to load with Proton than on Windows, black screen at launch but that's an issue in windows too that can be solved by pressing F5 after music starts.
Played 13 hours with no issues

Proton-6.13-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Proton-6.13-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
It starts up then blacks out, but still shows Stonehearth's custom cursor design and plays the startup music.
Sometimes freeze a little
Sometimes surge a debug message

Not able to load world on AMD
I think the game needs a NVIDIA GPU to run, from my own testing with my laptop which uses an MX150 it can load into the world were as my desktop and the Intel IGPU can't. Also all the working reviews are from nvidia users.
Worked right out of the box.
Crashes when loading world

It runs perfect for me. I have ocasional crashes on the main screen, but not in-game.

Works pretty good with full 60 fps, after a little bit of tweaking. Besides disabled esync i added WINEARCH=win64 as a prefix. Don't know if you really need it, but for me it works, so i don't gonna change it. Didn't test multiplayer, so i can't say if it works or not.

No noticeable graphical glitches. However, even with esync off and using Wine D3D, it has crashed or the screen has gone completely black in the process of starting a new game. Occasionally the framerate slows to a crawl and then returns to normal after some time.

Just blank window.

Crashes as soon as a new game is done loading

Stonehearth ran perfectly as far as I could tell. I played for about 4 hours straight. The only minor issue I had was the UI hung a bit when I bought a ton of stuff from a trader several hours in. But that could be normal, the game always had some bugs in it.

Runs perfectly aside from occasionally having the UI freeze, sometimes requiring a system restart to clear. Very rare, however.

Game seems to be fine. Some button issues where pressing buttons do not work. Some issue with all buttons but camera movement buttons disabling, preventing shutting the game down too through the menus.

Runs, but frequently freezes and stops responding to input.

Game crashes when creating a new game. With PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 instead of crashing, the game gets stuck with a full loading bar.

Runs perfect nothing needed to be done.

Everything works. didn't use to work with version of proton lower than 3.7.6

Performance: Runs ok. Not so smooth as running on Windows directly, but it's playable
Workaround: Game wasn't opening. Crashed with this message:
System.InvalidTimeZoneException: Exception of type 'System.InvalidTimeZoneException' was thrown. at System.TimeZoneInfo.FromRegistryKey (System.String id, Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey key) [0x00014] in <773ec02b42f74a918ccd74911c8063c9>:0
Searching on web, discovered that removing /etc/localtime symlink (which in my case points to ../usr/share/zoneinfo/America/Sao_Paulo) solves the issue and the game opens

WINEPREFIX="/mnt/sdb1/Games/steamapps/compatdata/200260/pfx" WINEARCH=win64 wine winecfg
and change from windows 7 to winxp
before rename the setup Folder in Main Folder to SetupDisabled for .net bug

Game opens but gets stuck during initial logo. Music runs in the background
