The game runs well out of the box. It must have received a Steam Deck specific update because no granular settings are available and instead the game offers a performance and quality mode. The difference in visual quality is rather minimal between the two due to the game's art style, so I advise sticking with performance mode, which runs at 60fps 90% of the time. There are some frame drops in more open and visually complex area, but since they only serve as hubs between the titular dungeons, the core gameplay is unaffected. Capping at 40fps removes these drops completely. Overall a very decent experience.

Pretty stuttery, beginning with the area after the tutorial.
Performance out of the box is not good.

Works out of the box
Works perfectly out of the box, no tinkering needed.
Ran perfect from start to finish

Great game, played with no errors ever. Finished in 21 hours. It is a battery suck, but I saw almost no FPS drops. I reckon there are ways to make it do better on battery, but I didn't look into it.

my mouse wouldn't stay attached on first load, but alt-tabbing fixed it. might be related to my setup
fun game, works pretty much flawlessly

Works out of the box, no changes needed
Basically no changes needed. Performance is on par with Windows (slightly better than Windows surprisingly), but very slighty within margin of error. Altough in Hinterberg performs degradates too much compared to Windows (about 20%), going from Proton 9.0-2 to Experimental fixes Hinterberg performance, altough not needed for me since 9.0-2 still delivers 60 FPS in Hinterberg.

Overall playable
FPS tanks in some parts of the Marsh/Swamp area, from 90's to 20's. Might be a CPU bottleneck, but I'm above minimum specs for this game.

Played 3 h so far (3 dungeons), works flawlessly

Lowered the settings and limited it to 40hz
I once had frame drops, but it got normal after a few seconds, and it was just in one specific place
High settings run with relatively high FPS. For a stable 60 I would still recommend lowering some settings (shouldn't take a lot). I just limited it to 40Hz, Low settings, turned up Texture and shadows for a longer battery life

Runs well without any tinkering
No issues at all, everything works perfectly out of the box.

Running without any issues.
The game requires a gamepad.
Demo ran perfectly
