Runs flawlessly with no issues at all
Mild lag spikes in the Character Creator, though those went away shortly after, likely just shader compilation.
I only tested Singleplayer for this test, but it seemed to perform admirably throughout
Runs without issues, minus the lack of native controller support
A lot of the UI relies on buttons being clicked, and as such the gameplay experience can be sub-optimal without a keyboard and mouse.
Works fine, just doesn't work as intended
Doesn't run over the Desktop. Just has a black background.
It works perfectly fine, technically speaking, but the lack of background transparency means that the points of the game being on the Desktop is kind of lost.
Game starts up, but closes before main menu can be shown
Tested on a Steam Deck OLED via a Quest 2 and ALVR v20.9.1
__GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only %command%
Getting kicked back to the SteamVR Environment during loading screens is a bit odd, but normal, even on Windows. Gotta love Source jank!
Perfectly servicable performance. A sturdy 25-30fps without adjusting any graphics settings.
UI seems to be at a fixed scale, which is difficult to parse without an external screen.
Worked perfectly, even via a Mobile Connection to a Dedicated Server running at a Data Center.
Text is quite small when playing on the Decks screen, as the UI seems to be at a fixed scale. Lowering the resolution to improve performance or battery life just results in the UI also getting scaled down, making stuff like FSR ineffective for this game.
Works fine natively, could use a lot of performance improvements in VR
Some Z-Fighting on some surfaces
Lag spikes and below average performance in VR, even in the starting world.
Definitely perfectly enjoyable in PC/Screen mode, but it performs quite poorly comparatively in VR, the thing it was designed for.
Was able to build a small circuit, seems to work flawlessly.
It's probably designed for stand-up playing, but whatever lmao.
Game Starts, but just shows screen with the text "You need a VR headset to play this game", despite being in SteamVR.
Runs perfectly fine, no tinkering needed.
Minor stutters, most likely loading of assets.
Running at about 30-ish FPS on a moderately sized map (SunDown), about 50% of what it is on Windows.
Video Players do not work with normal Proton, this is why GE-Proton is required.
Works flawlessly.
