PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -force-d3d12
At first the fullscreen resolution continously changed while the game loading into the main menu and then the game freezed. After a system restart it works.
Mouse problems with native version. In Proton hotfix version is fine.

Game starts but mouse input are not correctly working.
The game starts fine but in the main menu the mouse cursor pointed a different part of the screen where really are. That way I can open the settings menu but not can't do anything else.

Recommend to use Pronton Experiment at launch. The save files between the Pronton Experiment and the native linux system are not shared. So if you switched system later, all the save files will gone.

A really good isometric rpg, completely playable on the deck, resembles the OG Fallout and Wasteland games
For comfort and accessibility, enable the backbuttons for quicksave, map menu, inventory screen and character screen
40 hz/fps for around 3,5-4 hours of battery, every setting on high, one can lower the antialiasing and shadows to eliminate the occasional minimal stutter during gameplay (sometimes it drops from 40 to 35-37 when there is a lot of lightning and particle effects on the screen at once)
It's not exactly the game's fault but i lost all of my save files when i switched from native version to proton experimental because of the frequent crashes, i presumed it will happen but they didn't come back when i rolled back from proton to the native build, which i don't know if this is the game's fault or if steam cloud functions like this. The strange thing is that when i changed back, my in-game profile returned, but all of my save files were gone, so i suspect this is the game's fault
One crash on a loading screen in the first five hours, then i had no problem until around hour 35, around the beginning of Act 2, where the crashes became so frequent that it hindered the experience
Meaningful choices that drastically alter the in-game world and the flow of the story, turn-based combat, real-time exploration, if i hadn't lost my save game and progression i think the game could have offered me around 30 more hours of gameplay minimum
Native version crashes in Act 3. This issue has been known for 10 months by the dev team and is not fixed. Game cannot be finished.

Played the EGS version, without DLC. No Issues encountered.
Not working with Manjaro and Kernel 6
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -force-d3d12
I have tried the native, Proton GE 6 & 7, and Vanilla Proton 6 & 7, with all sorts of combinations of rendering backend and flags. I had no luck making it past the loading screen with my desktop. It crashed during character creation on my Thinkpad with the same distro and kernel.
Works perfectly fine out of the box
Game works, But DLC not Recognized.
Game would crash fairly often on transitions.
The game does not show the presence of the DLCs and I cannot access them despite buying them in a bundle with the game.
Don't bother buying the DLC on Linux
Game stuck at "Press any key to continue"
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
I'm trying different versions of proton, nothing seems to matter :/ Game continues to use CPU while appearing stuck, not sure what's happening
At first game crashed at load. Restarting steam deck solved this problem.
This runs perfectly out of the box without issue. You need to wait for the Vulkan shaders then you are good to go.

Работает хорошо без дополнительной настройки.
Окно игры не открывается если переключится альт+таб на другую программу.
Perfect performance. No problems at all.
Flawless experience, worked right out of the box with Proton 6.3-6.
Some people report some "slowness" on the game that I did not experience. On 2560x1080 with ultra settings I was getting 140 to 150 fps average. Although that's not stellar for such simple graphics, it's not painfully slow like others reported. Maybe they do not use a kernel with fsync compiled?

Once you purchase the game make sure to switch it over to using proton by going to properties , compatibility and selecting the checkbox.
For some reason steam seems to think a native client is available and starts a download for 0 bytes unless you switch this on. This is most likely due to the devs saying they will eventually support linux native (thread : https://steamcommunity.com/app/921800/discussions/0/3040481757532449796/ )

As of latest update the Game too slow to be playable. Did not used to be like that. I think they have a native Linux version in the works.
Game developers degraded game saves for new ones and I lost all my progress.
After latest update the game became unplayeble due to slowness 1 fps.

I click "Play" then I receive this message in a window. Game does not start.
Failed to initialize graphics. Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed

Works fine in general
Sometimes stuttering when loading new levels or battles

occasional framerate slowdown, minor not game impacting. I experience same issues with windows as well, could be 5700xt drivers.
Software detects incorrect primary monitor when launched, uses secondary.
They announced Linux version. I just couldn't wait so i bought the game and played windows version. Everything works fine.

works perfectly
