Some micro-stutters, but overall a pleasant experience
Micro-stutters occur
The game itself runs fine but at standart settings drains Battery quickly. The external grafik settings wont save but just configure grafiks ingame or leave them standart.

Steam deck and proton are all up to date. Reinstalling and verifing didn't help. The graphics tool can be accessed, but changes in there don't help.
Sometimes Steam Controller disconnects whit the game paused
Smooth as butter in most areas, seems there is some issues with async loading with the odd hitch but not unplayable
100% completed the game in a 140h playthough on linux with 0 issues or performance problems. Runs just as well as on windows out of the box

Proton-5.9-GE-5-ST GloriousEggroll
Game was crashing at startup after crashing ingame an creating a 0KB savegame. After deleting 0KB save (it was the autosave) , game runs smooth like before .

Runs flawless out of the box on my system.
The only minor issue I encountered is that sometimes leaving the game using the in-game menu causes a black screen, returning to the title screen first always works.
Stopped working today
The game has been working flawlessly for some 300hrs and after updating arch today it won't launch :(

Game worked wonderfully for around 50 hours. Then it suddenly started dropping all backgrounds. Only characters and the skybox were visible.
Had to open Big Picture mode and set controller to Forced Off before it would recognize input.
Around 50 hours in, game started completely freezing every few mintues.

Once I set the WINE 3D3 launch option and forced off the controller settings in Big Picture Mode, it runs like a dream.
Had to open up Steam Big Picture and set the game's controller options to 'Forced Off' before the controller would work
Sometimes the Steam Controller works weird
Works great out of the box
Runs smoothly and comparable to the experience on Windows.
Works flawlessly

the grass seems to flicker when i move
Was initially getting "DX11 feature level 10.0 is required to run the engine", had to install mesa-vulkan-drivers and add PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command% to the launch options the get it working.
Works perfectly with Proton 5.0.
Perfectly out of the box. Finished the game (132 hrs).
Works out of the box
Perfect Run
Played about 10 hours in Windows 10 and over 100 hours in Manjaro Linux. Game runs perfect in Linux with Proton (better than it ran in Windows), no tweaks needed.
Runs perfectly. Worked with my 40 hour save from Windows and played as it should if not a little smoother.

Perfect run!

The message "DX11 feature level 10.0 is required to run the engine" keeps appearing and I cannot get the game to start. I've reinstalled Linux Mint, I've upgraded the Kernel version to the latest stable, BIOS is latest version, I even tried running Windows 10 in a VM temporarily and it still gave me the same error even after confirming through dxdiag command that all requirements were met.

66h in the game and already saw the credits roll. Had no issues. I made a snippet of some gameplay: https://youtu.be/H9cl70gskkI

everything just works OOTB, running smooth, @3440x1440

Vanilla install, no tweaks. DS4 controller through wireless dongle. 36 hours in and two more weeks play since last report and there have been no issues.

Installed, started, connected XBOX Controller, everything worked fine, no stuttering, framerate was even a bit higher than in windows.

Playing using DS4 controller through wireless dongle. The controller works well. No tweaks. Runs great.

There is some stutter, especially when the zones load.

Runs perfectly fine. Only minimal problem (like some games under Wine) is a short stuttering when first loading all the assets.

the game launch & seems alright, but my xbox wireless controller does not work with this game

I'm using the NVIDIA PRIME implementation for Optimus graphics on my laptop. I had noticed a lot of screen tearing until I found a module option for nvidia-drm for modesetting; That synced the Intel and NVIDIA cards together and eliminated the screen tearing, but then I would experience ugly hangs for a few seconds at a time while playing. Apparently this is due to a conflict with how NVIDIA (/PRIME) handles Vsync, and I had to disable VSYNC inside DQXI's video settings. Now it runs perfectly!

Works perfectly out of the box.
The one thing I changed was switching to fullscreen (instead of borderless window) in the graphics settings. In borderless, I was getting 40-45fps and in fullscreen I get locked 60fps for 1440p@Max.

Everything works out of the box. Around 30 stable fps on max settings.

40ish fps, no sound issues out of the box. Took ages on one loading screen (after an hour or so of play) but after a reboot it was no problem. 2 hours played so far and no real problems
