no issues at all.
May just work out of the box, been playing this for a while now.

Fonctionne bien en mode MJ seul
les créatutres de mod.io que j'avais sauvegardé ont été importée sans problème Je n'ai jamais essayé le mode multijoueur

Friends logged in normally on the campaing. Not a single problem.
Didn't even try standard proton, I always use experimental.

Crash on board load
TaleSpire crashes when I try to load a game board. The performance is very slow on startup. I am able to get as far as my boards menu, but when I try to load a board I get the void for a few minutes before the whole game quits.
I was able to run the game before Proton became mandatory and I have no idea how to get back to the prior compatibility system.
Not your fault, I know. It's just that waiting for a working version is interrupting my game.

Mods are difficult. Other than that, TaleSpire runs even better than on Windows.
Runs perfectly with no issues oob.

Game crashes after launch, says that it has failed graphycs initialization
tried multiple proton versions
Failed to initialize graphics. Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed
Works out of the box, with some possible issues (see notes)
The only problem I experienced with the game while playing online was a heat issue. CPU heat reached critical and shut down the machine. This might have to do with my hardware, but might have to do with the game's lack of optimization. I've run it with a better setup on Win 7 with no heat issues, but overall chugging issues when the scene had a lot of geometry. Keep an eye on your CPU. Hopefully they will optimize with subsequent versions.
Sat and built for a while and it seems to work perfectly. I haven't tried a full DnD game yet.
Not working
I can install the game, but is not running!
Talespire URI does not work OOTB. You need to manually add it. Instructions can be found in these reviews or on this page. for Arch-based use WINEFSYNC
instead of WINEESYNC
Multiplayer is done via a centralized server.
Aside from TaleSpire URI's not working OOTB, (additional steps are required) this game works wonderfully OOTB on Proton 7.0-2
Works flawlessly with regular install from steam. No configuring required
works out of the box
Works flawlessly.

No luck with old Radeon HD 5670 card
It seems like the game requires DX11 and Proton tries to use Vulkan support to run it, which the card doesn't support, as it uses the radeon driver instead of amdgpu. The game shows "Failed to initialize graphics. Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed". The game runs with WineD3D, but the video is so garbled, that it's unplayable. On Windows it runs fine, as the card supports DX11.
Works right out of the box with some performance issues.
Worked right out of the box with Proton.

Had no major issues, works out of the box.
Game does not fullscreen by default nor can you just disable window mode and apply display settings. You need to disable window mode, change resolution, then apply display settings. Once you do that then the game will full screen and you can apply your preferred resolution.
TaleSpire links do not work by default, you need to do a bit of tinkering to get it working, but it's not that bad. Just follow what is said on the TaleSpire Discord server here: https://discord.com/channels/262552432968466432/575333285719310376/849404372404273173
Had to use Proton 6.3-5, but it worked perfectly.
Only seem to be able to run it with proton 5.0-10
Probably proton unrelated. Lockups made me shutdown via powerbutton. Issue has been cited by other users on windows 10.
Every half hour there was a lockup of my whole OS. Couldn't even get my pc to TTY.

Linux xdg-open registration of talespire://* protocol-links
to enable support for the talespire://* links, one must create a .desktop file in ~/.local/share/applications/talespire-xdg.desktop
with contents:
Type=Application
Name=TaleSpire
Exec=env WINEPREFIX="/home/{USER}/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/720620/pfx" WINEESYNC=1 /home/{USER}/.steam/compatibilitytools.d/Proton-5.21-GE-1/dist/bin/wine64 /home/{USER}/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/TaleSpire/TaleSpireUrlRelay.exe %u
StartupNotify=false
MimeType=x-scheme-handler/talespire;
and then run xdg-mime default talespire-xdg.desktop x-scheme-handler/talespire
YMMV on the wineprefix, wine executable, and .exe pathing, of course.
Works as expected, except: talespire:// links for importing data (eg dice rolls with talespire://dice/ etc...) don't work.

Works as expected, with no noticeable slowdown or extra bugs. Likely to change in the future as it's still in beta.
I did have some issues with random stutters while VSync was turned on (nothing game breaking), but since I have this issue in other apps as well, it's most likely an issue on my end with graphics drivers and not Protons fault
