after running the game for a little while, the mouse cursor experiences slight, but gameplay-impacting delay
Running the game natively throws an error message of a missing executable "PUSS!.x86_64". Playing with Proton works perfectly, until eventually the mouse cursor experiences a slight delay which makes the game significantly harder to play.
Game runs perfectly, however the nature of the game does not work great on the deck imo and you might find the controls a bit touchy.
Works great except for test pattern in intro video
Native version did not recognize input at all. Proton worked great

Works
The game works now out of the box without any workaround :-)

Proton-5.11-GE-3-MF GloriousEggroll
Proton-5.11-GE-3-MF
Mouse movement isn't detected initially. Alt-tabbing out then back in seems to fix it.

You need to install mf-install. Plus my 12 core CPU needs a workaround in the Steam launch option: taskset -c 1-8 %command%. Then the game worked perfectly fine on Proton with DXVK on Vulkan.

Warning screen then black screen

Game is unplayable unless you install MS Media Foundation, then it works perfectly. Rating the game borked as installing Media Foundation I consider is beyond just a tweak.

Black screen past Epilepsy warning, audio continues playing for a minute (presumably from intro cut scene or game startup video that doesn't play) before black screen and silence.

Past the epilepsy warning, there's garbled sound over a black screen. Not sure if I should be thankful.

Doesn't progress beyond epilepsy warning
