Random stutters, it almost ruined my race a few times. Not critical but very annoing
Steam achivements don't work out of the box. I have to set DXVK_ASYNC=1 to fix it
It was running very poor on the first launch with 25 fps. Tinckering didn't help. After soft update and reboot performance was fixed. FYI: the game has DRM with activation limit per day. This is a pain if you want to try different proton versions

60+ fps at 1440p max settings but the game has stutters and achivements doesn't work
- random stutters once in a several minutes
- steam achivements doesn't work. In-game notification is displayed but achivements aren't syncronized with steam

It was amazing, nothing to report.
just join a quick game it seemed to work but left soon after it was just a test. the main server at OFF tho so all functionality there is dead you can only join other player hosting.
Running Great, oldy but goody.

FPS limit - 50 fps, TDP - 12 W, GPU Clock - 1200
In terms of Graphics to Performance this is probably the best WRC game, 8 and 9 looked worse than this one, but at the same time performance was also worse.
Set all graphics options to Medium, SSAO Medium and Crowd Density to Low
A great semi-arcade rally game for the Steam Deck with impressive graphics, fun handling, and mostly solid physics, definitely worth a grab on sale – 8/10.

If You are NOT on Nvidia gpu, turn off particle effects in game to boost performance, the game uses nvidia physx for that.

The game works fine out of the box with default Steam Proton
when minimize the window getting back to the game it can be looked kinda funky, it can be fixed playing on windowed or using gamescope.
Online has been shutdown long ago so no multiplayer or leaderboards.
Tested on steam and the drm free version from Amazon Games using Heroic Launcher.

So the game runs very well, but you have to know that, now, 2024 the game won't run Online because its servers closed.
The game runs very well, I haven't had any significant issues with it. You should try it! But you need to know that now, 2024, the game won't run online because its servers closed long time ago. Overall it was very enjoyable. No configs or nothing, it worked with the Default proton of steam.

Enjoyable when not using a steering wheel.
Unplayable with Logitech G29, the sad part is, it doesn't seem to work on Windows either.

Changing resolutions in fullscreen does not work. It stays small and cropped.
Switch controller works great. Xbox are not.
The game works perfectly on a Ryzen 7840HS APU with only the Radeon 780M integrated graphics. It's a perfect game for Steam Deck or any other handheld mini PC running on Linux.
All graphics settings are maxed out. Running the game at 720p50 buttery smooth without a single framedrop. No degradations can be seen. I've spent many hours in the game on Windows so rest assured everything is fine visually.
Controller support is a bit iffy. It can only detect my GuliKit King Kong 2 Pro controller in Switch mode and not in Xbox or Android mode.
Audio is perfect. No glitches or poppings.

TDP limit: 9w, Refresh rate 60hz, Power usage around 16W while playing on medium settings.
It's sad nothing worked

it need proton 5.1 for you can use the buttons

Runs extremely well at a stable 40fps at High / Ultra settings. Even runs at a stable 60fps if one is ok to reduce battery life. Super cool!
FPS limit 40fps - Refresh Rate limit 40Hz - TDP 12 - GPU clock 1200 - FSR sharpness 2 (SteamOS FSR)
Needs to be launched from Lutris or Bottles. Launching from Steam sometimes returns errors.
No difference to Windows, runs perfect - except all online modes are deactivated already
Perfect out of the box, able to play in 900p 30+ FPS max graphics on an AMD APU lappy.
60fps limit or 30 fps limit depending on target battery life
If you have a Logitech G29 wheel that you are planning to use, then this game is unplayable.
With Proton 7 my Logitech G29 was not detected at all. After downgrading to Proton 6.3 the game did detect the G29 but I was unable to map the throttle or brake pedals - only the clutch pedal was recognized.
Able to play with very high graphics setting with no slowdown
The game works out of the box. No need for tweaks and launch options
Works perfectly with proton experimental
Perfect!
You have to force the 5.13 proton version to be used. The newest version (currently 6.3) made the game laggy (5fps).
If i play in Window mode i lose like half of my fps
Don't use proton 6.3

black or white screen
game installs and shows menu, but whatever proton version I tried there's a sound but blank screen
Runs well
I use Proton 5.0-10 and i run out of the box but haven't test the multiplayer
Works very well
The game itself works fantastic out of the box, although multiplayer doesn't work. Not sure if it is dead or just not working.
Run better then on windows 10 ... (on windows there are significal slow downs visible on freesync)
Great for singleplayer, not sure if multiplayer is dead or not
Multiplayer is unplayable
Single player carrier works well with PS4 Dualshock controller out of the box.
Cannot found multiplayer servers.
Game crashes at Startup when Logitech G27 Wheel is plugged in, game doesn't detect the Wheel when it is plugged in after the game launches. Dualshock 4 Gamepad works as expected.
