Runs great. Zero problems. No tinkering needed. All features and functions including gamepad support works perfectly. I use GE-Proton and gamemode by default so this had to be marked as a tinker report.
Perfectly fine with vanilla Proton. Zero tinkering, zero issues.
Everything works fine including online ranked mode. No performance issues. Audio and latency are perfect.

The game says save is corrupted on every startup.
The game runs perfectly well without Proton. To be clear, I use Steam-Play-None to force Steam to run the game natively since it already has a native Linux port by Feral Interactive.
Controller works perfectly fine (disable Steam Input). Audio is fine. No graphical issues or glitches.
I have an issue with the save being "corrupted" on every launch but I'm not sure if that's because I keep changing between native and Proton.
To activate the native Linux port, use the following beta code: feraldirtsupport
Perfectly playable except online Daily Challenges. Casual, non-sim motocross game you can play on the go with easy controls and handling.
Daily Challenges (online) does not work. It returns "Connection Error". Unsure if servers are broken (based on the developers history of terrible networking) or the game blocks Linux players from joining online mode.
There is no anti-cheat. Vanilla Proton 9.03 (as of 29th November 2024) worked out of the box. I have not tested with a gamepad. Mouse and keyboard support is perfect. No audio or visual glitches either.

Performance is okay. With my specs, I was able to get 60 FPS at Low settings at 720p. It's not Linux nor Proton's fault. The engine used for this game, KT Engine, has always been subpar in terms of performance. WRC 7 was their last optimized engine. Slightly off tangent here but I highly recommend WRC 7 for a casual rally game on Linux.
System Integrity Violation error. The developer has confirmed that their own internal anti-cheat engine is not ready for Linux.
The game's internal anti-cheat does not work with Linux. The developers have confirmed this issue and looking to fix it but it is not a priority.
The game works completely as it would on Windows. Optimization is an issue of the game itself therefore performance is all over the place.
ProtonDB calls this a tinkering report when all I did was change to Proton Experimental. 9.0-3 works sometimes, doesn't most of the time. GE9-15 works just as well as Proton Experimental.

Changing resolutions in fullscreen does not work. It stays small and cropped.
Switch controller works great. Xbox are not.
The game works perfectly on a Ryzen 7840HS APU with only the Radeon 780M integrated graphics. It's a perfect game for Steam Deck or any other handheld mini PC running on Linux.
All graphics settings are maxed out. Running the game at 720p50 buttery smooth without a single framedrop. No degradations can be seen. I've spent many hours in the game on Windows so rest assured everything is fine visually.
Controller support is a bit iffy. It can only detect my GuliKit King Kong 2 Pro controller in Switch mode and not in Xbox or Android mode.
Audio is perfect. No glitches or poppings.
