Perfect compatibility
This is an awesome metroidvania, that goes far beyond the fan-service being really good to play. It's so lightweight it's hard to even notice if there's any performance impact by using Proton.
The only negative thing is the stupid "Rune Packed" achievement, which is locked by an annoying low-rng item farm, completely unnecessary forced grind in a game that definitively doesn't need it.
Dialog a is bit small, but readable

Text was just readable, but quite small and there are a lot of conversations to read.
Unable to play cut scene in ending credits. All that can be seen is a grey screen.
Game works flawlessly.
Better performance than in windows in my low spec PC.
Game installs and works perfectly.
Alt-tab does not work in fullscreen mode as the game is rendered always on top of your desktop (at least in Linux Mint Cinnamon), however it works in windowed mode.
Completed full playthrough with no crashes and perfect performance (no lag or stutter).
Used Logitech Gamepad F310, which was detected automatically.
In multi-monitor configuration, I needed to deactivate the second monitor or the game would crash to desktop. On single monitor configuration, the game works flawlessly.
No issues
Played the game around 35+ minutes worked right out of the box. NO issues with the controller scrolling was pretty smooth. Would definately recommend this game if you are looking for a metroidvania fix.

The audio glitches out after a while. Xbox controller works. Performance was good in my case.
UnknownMusic and background sound effects annoyingly glitchy, but otherwise somewhat playable. Takes a long time to start. Not extremely smooth performance. UE4 game.
