Runs Great!

Couldn't get controller to work, other than that it works as intended
The game works well with mouse and keyboard but couldn't detect my 8bit do ultimate controller

Hold steam button and use touchpad for initial setup. I didn't think to check for community layout, moght be worthwhile.
The forced introduction with controls is necessary to play the game, but I think it could do without the weird controls.
You can only use first-person view while holding down a button (there's no toggle, and not worth remapping as you can't move without switching back.
The game starts on medium graphics and autodetects medium, but high works fine at 90fps.

Native Linux port has issues with games audio. It stops wokring after some indefinite time. However, Windows port worked fine in that regard
Game's audio stops working after some indefinite time.
Minor glitches like in training room there was a glitch in the movement of the director while talking. Which not happened on Windows.
Buy on your own risk although some people successfully ran it wihtout issues.

L4 to left mouse click, l5 to right mouse click, r5 to run
If you play with the default layout (controller), the game will freeze after you create a new profile
Controls are abysmall. It is hard to move straight because how the game works. Interacting with object sucks because sometimes the weird control that the game uses doesnt read my input. Plus it is hard to rotate the camera and check where everything is. I'll just switch back to desktop.

audio dissappeared at one point but a restart fixed it
DO NOT CHANGE PROTON TO 8 LIKE OTHERS SUGGESTED idk what's changed but the game wouldn't even start. Leave at default it loads up fine. On an OLED SD idk if that's what makes the difference.

Runs perfectly
If the gamepad is reconnected, the game must be restarted.

Works OOTB
Window has some quirks on Hyprland but nothing that results in the game crashing
Works perfectly, including gamepad support when on Proton 8.0
DO NOT SELECT "Auto detect gamepads", it'll just freeze the game. Instead, assign the trackpads to mouse (touchscreen doesn't work) and select no on that option at launch. Once the menu loads, navigate to control settings, switch to controller, then the gamepad will work.
Every hour or so the game's FPS suddenly tanks. Played until next autosave, rebooted the game then its fine.
One random crash + the above frame drop issue
Proton also works fine, same FPS drop issue. Saves are in the cloud and work cross platform so not much reason to play with Proton.

This game remastered is well known to have issues not detecting the gamepads. Problem also in the Native linux version.
Native version has issues recognizing gamepad and pronton version won't launch.
Set lowest TDP (3W), runs well
It just works as you load it from Steam without any issues.

The game showed a black screen at first launch but it worked fine when relaunching the game. The resolution is 720p stretched.
Fullscreen resolution is 720p stretched vertically.
Had minor issues with the controller but after restarting was OK. The dialog options do not get highlited, I recommend using the right pad as mouse for dialogs.
[Steam deck]
The game works fine with both native linux and with Proton, with the proton version it faild to start i had to go to the game files (not wine), there was a folder called "Fahrenheit.exe.local" i coppied all .dll to the main folder where Fahrenheit.exe is and the game run no problems, the only problem i had was when loading the menu and the game the window would move a bit and then back to place, when switching between linux and windows the saves were kept
crashed after "Quantic Dream" logo

Game works native on Linux. On Proton it doesn't work at all, nothing happens, only some background processes that you need to kill to close the game.

In my case trying to run the game via Proton will cause nothing at all. The game won't even start. No window, nothing. The process apparently is running, cause when trying to play again, an error pops saying "The application is already executing. 6783". In the Linux Native version doesn't seem work either, but at least a presentation window with the logo animation "QuanticoDreams" pops up just before closing itself again. Conclussion: I cannot play either way.

Game works native on Linux, but not on Proton.
